Fantastic location, good food (we ate cod, sardines, francesinha and calamari), good service and good price. 4 people for 69 euros.

A wonderful place, if what you want is to eat deep-fried, frozen supermarket food. The attention of the older man leaves a lot to be desired, from his lack of attention to his way of acting as if he were doing you a favor. Also add the amount of food they bring out for the wait that they charge at an excessive price. If you don't want to waste your money, don't come here.

One disappointment follows the next.
From frozen schnitzel to soggy fries to glasses that have never been cleaned since the restaurant opened. Tables just about as high as the level of service.
In the league of tourist traps they are untouchable like their salad which is probably used several times as a literally tasteless decoration. I wish you a pleasant vomiting and traumatizing experience - something like this could also pass for culinary suicide.

Good food, good price and good service

It was the worst disgusting lunch we had for all three weeks of being in Europe. When I approached the cook, he was very prideful and said no one ever complained about his food.

It was super hard to chew the cod. It tasted like it was rubber. And it was absolutely older than three days. My son told me it tasted worse than a microwave meal. I completely agree!

I will absolutely be contesting this meal with the credit card company. Worst experience in Europe run run run!

We threw the leftovers out to the fish in the river, and they wouldn’t even eat it! That should tell you something!

We saw the food in the table when we walked by and it looked decent and so we skipped our normal procedure of checking the Google reviews first. That was a big mistake because the food was horrible. The fish was very old and not cooked well at all. The traditional Portuguese sandwich had burned bread and the beef was very tough.
The fish dumplings were stringy and had a hair in them and tasted like old tuna fish that had been fried. The view is not worth the horrible food.

The worst restaurant I have ever eaten at. I regret that we ordered first and then saw the kitchen and the cook. That would explain everything. How can you even screw up French fries. I couldn't even eat three dishes. 90 Euros. We didn't eat it and the waiter asked if it was good. I replied that the beer was OK and we left.

Don't go here, they'll steal your money.

Important notice to all considering dining here: they will overcharge you. Initially, we were brought a bread basket, along with a selection of olives, spreads and cheeses. Typically, this is complimentary and so we ate it, not knowing that we would later be charged €15 - an extortionate amount for not even a full appetiser each.

Moving onto the food itself, the dishes were clearly not fresh and often seemed confused. The calamari had a texture completely unlike any squid I've eaten, closely resembling an onion ring. Instead of having a nice bite to it, the squid was mushy and the batter was too thick. The entire plate of calamari was closer to uncooked dough than an actual meal. The vegetable soup is a poorly named dish, as it lacked vegetables and was served lukewarm. It had clearly been prepared multiple hours prior to our meal, as had the melon and ham dish. Although the ham tasted good, the melon was soft and the dish was soggy, as it had been sitting in melon juices for an unknown amount of time.

The only good dish we had was the seafood croquettes. Unfortunately, our enjoyment of them was ruined by the fact the servers brought double what we ordered without clarifying the portion sizes. As we were under the impression that we had been given the correct number of croquettes, we couldn't resolve the issue and instead had to pay double what we intended. A similiar issued occurred with the water, where we asked for one bottle of water and were instead given four.

Overall, this restaurant intends to scam it's customers rather than serving them. What should've been a lovely lunch was hugely marred by their disrespectful and deliberate overcharging and mismanagement of our orders. Don't go here. It's not worth it.

Terrible sangria for the price of €16. The customer service team is always on top of people, at least with us this happened, we want to feel free to talk and we have our desk job literally glued to us. Not to mention the terrible food, a large part of the cod was salty, the potatoes that should have been thin were each the same thickness, some much thicker, others a little thinner. Anyway, I NEVER AGAIN hate paying for bad food and being poorly served and giving one star is too much.
