“Have seen this place for a while but never went in. Today decided to try it and was not disappointed. Had the matcha strawberry latte and the Nutella crofre. Staff was friendly and quick. The dessert was perfect! Not too sweet or too overloaded with Nutella. The outside was crispy and the inside was soft and chewy at the same time. Really cute inside and cozy. Will definitely return.“

“Love the cherry-chocolate-amaretto and vanilla raspberry ice cream flavors. You can get your ice cream and walk through the park. They were so patient and enthusiastic in allowing us to taste a few different flavors. The line was more like a mob in front of the shop and could probably be organized a bit better. Their dog is so cute!“

“I absolutely loved this cafe (and will be visiting it on a weekly basis). The owners are so sweet & friendly, the vibes are very cute, the desserts are great, and the coffee - which by the way is cheap, is better than most expensive coffees. They also have a piano, and unlike most places that have one that's strictly decorative, they turned off their music, encouraged me to play, and enjoyed listening. I rarely write a review, but this place deserves every good word!“

“Our Montreal friends told us these were essential. They weren't exaggerating.

Mr. Puffs sits in a heavily touristed area, which usually makes me skeptical, but locals insisted, and locals were right. The pitch is simple: this is the best part of a doughnut, crispy outside, soft and warm inside, without any of the dense filler (but I'm sure that's an option)

The menu is pleasantly overwhelming. So many drizzle and topping combinations that choosing takes a minute, and you order by the box rather than the piece. I lean savory over sweet as a rule, so I went in expecting to try one and be done. Instead I ate half the box.

My standouts were the Bueno chocolate and the plain caramel. Eaten hot and fresh, straight out of the box, they're exactly what everyone promised. Light, crisp, warm, ridiculously good.

Nobody is claiming this is health food. It's a fun food, done extremely well, and I'd absolutely eat it again. Zero regrets.“

“Mr Puffs is a fantastic place. The concept is unique and I so greatly wish they would open a shop in the USA. Come to the Natick Mall in Massachusetts as your first stop! You’ll do great!
Their prices are really fair. They could charge 50% more in the USA, and they would do well.
The Puffs were hot, slightly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside every single time I went.
The Mont-Olympe option pairs the puffs with ice cream. You can choose the ice cream flavor, the ice cream shell, and the puffs topping. There are so many options. I went with the Dulce De Leche each time. It was too good.
Something about the hot puffs with cold ice cream was just splendid.
The portion is huge and the sugar is strong! ? So I advise sharing with someone. I shared each time and we both left fully satisfied. A third wheel would have also enjoyed and we’d all be happy when you pick the 8 puff option.
I can’t speak highly enough of Mr Puffs. I was really impressed. I hope to go again soon. And if you open near me, I’ll be your first customer. Or area adviser! Anything to get you here.

Café Gelato is truly one of the hidden gems of Montreal. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere, beautiful décor, and a team that genuinely cares about the experience of their guests. The space has a great vibe whether you’re stopping in for a quick coffee, enjoying a relaxed brunch, or meeting friends.

The menu is thoughtfully curated and everything feels fresh and high quality. The brunch options are excellent, the paninis are delicious, and the desserts are incredible. Their homemade gelato is definitely a highlight and a must-try if you visit. You can really tell that a lot of attention is put into the ingredients and the preparation.

What makes this place special is the overall experience great food, great coffee, friendly service, and a welcoming neighborhood feel. It’s the kind of spot you want to come back to again and again. Highly recommended if you’re in Montreal.“
