“We had an early dinner here on a Sunday. We almost didn’t go in at first because it was completely empty but in the end we walked in and had a meal. We both got the beef pho with rare and brisket beef flank. IT WAS AWESOME. Pho is one of our favourite dishes and one that we’ve learned to essentially judge restaurants by. This place had absolutely delicious broth, perfectly tender noodles, lots of high quality beef, and a bountiful fixings. Also, the owner was super nice, and the room, while basic, had comfortable banquets. So you should do yourself a favour and get a nice bowl of noodles here to eat in or take out because one of the better noodle shops in the country is sitting right here in Montreal. Who knew?“

“We stumbled upon this hidden gem while going for a burger down the street and let me tell you, we were not disappointed!!

Cozy little restaurant with an amazing staff. Nathalie (I hope I remembered her name correctly) greeted us with a big smile and gave us her recommendations. We had the beef soup as well as the mixed grilled meat plate. Came with 2 egg rolls (shrimp & chicken), 2 chicken thighs I believe, few shrimp skewers and a nice piece of grilled beef on a bed of rice. Nathalie who was a dear, gave is some delicious chillies to go with the food that gave the soup the KICK in the back of the throat ya love!!!

Price for the food was really good and worth every penny. Will definitely be back!!

“If you want to have a basic meal in the center of Montreal, go to this place. It's located inside a big building at a food court with few other vendors, so you will get some choice. The meals are quite basic, pho soup is not as sophisticated as in other restaurants, but it's a good budget place to eat when you are touring Montreal. Walk around, there is a beautiful passage with a glass roof and a fountain, also some shops.

“This is my favourite Village restaurant. Their food is so fresh and delicious, and their prices are very fair. They pull this off despite having a huge menu. Their sushi is my favourite but their bahn mi and poke bowls are great as well.

It’s mainly a takeout restaurant, even if you sit down you’re getting your food in takeout containers. If you want a more formal experience I’d recommend other places, but if you care about getting the best tasting sushi THIS is the spot.“

You have to enter the back of the building, and the menu is outside as well as inside so if you are not satisfied with the prices you don't have to awkwardly leave the restaurant, perfect for the social anxious. not that it would be much of a problem, the prices are great for what you are getting!! upon entering I was greeted by a sweet old lady and she was very accommodating when I asked to to be seated further away because where she wanted to make me sit it was too cramped. she served me a glass of ice water and even put the jug right next to me! the wait was long maybe 15 to 30 mins for the meal with no Wifi but its definitely worth it! The portions are great and the food oh so delicious!! so delicious it made me like the (surprise!) mushrooms in my stir fry when I usually hate mushrooms.?‍ it was chicken that melts in your mouth, delicious veggies that imbibed with the sweet and sour sauce, served with a side of vermicelli and a weird crunchy fried rice thing i forgot the name. The guy was a bit cold but he wasn't straight up rude, maybe he was just shy like me.??‍♀️ Anyways upon paying he didn't try to sneakily slip an overcharge of a few extra dollars like some other family owned restaurants tried in the past with me like that pizza place one time. I calculated everything in front of the menu at the entrance and it was exactly what he charged me, very convenient and right. I gave them 5$ tips on my 20$ meal plus 1,30$ on the Buddha for good luck ?. anyways this review is getting long but all that said I would DEFINATELY recommend!!? ?“
