“Le Cellier is a favourite spot. We’ve been twice this year, and the charm of this intimate, upscale restaurant set in an old home makes every visit feel special. The food is always exceptional, this visit we had the duck breast and the seafood risotto, and both dishes were absolutely incredible. The crudo trio is a great meal for sharing. Highly recommend for a cozy, high-quality dining experience.“

“Had dinner with a friend a couple of days ago and had an overall good experience but there was room for improvement. I ordered the coquilles st jacques. While the scallops were cooked well the purée lacked flavour.. missing that hit of cheese. I had to use some lemon to liven the dish a bit. My friend had the streak frites, medium rare that came rare. We had the kitchen bring to temp. I had a bite and it was tender and flavourful. I will return to try more from the menu and see how it goes. A great place either way for atmosphere and drinks.“

“We had the most amazing experience with Tina! We came from Niagara Falls Ontario for a hockey tournament with 25 hungry 16 year old boys and she took care of everything!! She was prompt, going out of her way to deliver to our hotel, organized and thought of everything! Not to mention brought the most amazing food for the entire team! I would highly, highly recommend Tina and Wedel Touch of Europe to anyone!“

“An impromptu visit for drinks at this unique and serene restaurant in Wakefield, turned into a wonderful dinner. We opted to sit in the outdoor patio facing the falls. The day was perfect with clouds protecting us from the sun. We had an entree that was perfect for two, delicious cheeses and meat plus sides. For dinner we chose a meal for two, rib steak cooked to perfection accompanied by sides of various vegetables cooked to perfection

“First time visitor on March 23, to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The restaurant was happily booked up when I tried to make a reservation, so I was only able to secure a table at 5:15pm. I left a little note asking them to keep us in mind if there was a cancellation for a later spot, and they contacted me by email, text, and phone when a later table became available for 6:15pm. Very responsive and friendly staff. Our time at Soif was marvellous. The staff were friendly and extremely professional. Service was relaxed yet very polished. Our server was knowledgeable about the wine and took great care to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. We had a flight of wine to start, followed by a beautiful bottle of white, and a flight of bubbles to end our evening. We shared a half cheese/half charcuterie platter that came with a mountain of crispy and delicious crostini, the latter being refilled without having to ask. Such a small but lovely touch. We also shared roasted Brussels sprouts, frites and aioli, a bison tartare, and grilled radicchio, that were all delicious. They surprised my friend with a little dessert wine and candle to acknowledge her birthday, which was so kind and thoughtful. I have not a single critique. The team here works like a well-oiled machine. No one seemed frantic or rushed. It was a lovely evening. I (we) will definitely be back. Santé!“
