“The service was amazing, they were incredibly accommodating, clear, and helpful. They were running low on one of the ingredients of a meal, so they offered reducing the size of the meal and giving an insane discount, and it was still a large meal. They were not overbearing at all, and lovely people. The food itself was incredible, for any genre. It being vegetarian did not retract at all, and makes it super accommodating to anyone. It smelled great, tasting great, looked great, etc. Overall, one of the best Indian places there are around here, and the #1 vegetarian of that variety.
Vegetarian options: I'm not vegetarian, but I can tell you, a lot of places that are vegetarian branded make all their food worse for the sake of it, but We Desi seems like it was built on it, and it was great.“

“Tried for the first time today and loved it! I had the spinach and cheese kebabs. Never had these before, but absolutely delicous and fresh. Lightly crispy on the outside, soft and warm inside with amazing spices. Also had the mix vegetable curry and one of the best I've had in Ottawa! A true culinary delight. I'll be ordering again very soon! Cheers“

“Stumbled across this place last October while browsing the market and their food saved me as I was in desperate need of home style flavours. “Delicious food and authentic Bangladeshi taste. Every dish we tried was amazing: kolija shingara, daal puri, kalo jam. The chingri shutki is a must try!Best part about the place was the owner, a very friendly man who you can tell really cares about the food and the customers. This restaurant is his passion project.A rare find in Ottawa. We will definitely go back whenever we crave authentic deshi food!“

“The best Momo spot in Ottawa, must try “Tikka N Talk Veg Momos” it’s just mouthwatering delicious ?… I like this place specifically because of the staff especially Chef Dev who is very kind, friendly, professional and top of all has magic in his hands of whatever he cooks. Whether it’s a steam momos or an extravagant tikka veg momos, Chef Dev never fails to impress with his culinary creations.
