“Not a huge fan of "bread crumb style" breading, more of a tempura style fan. But for that style this was the best you can ask for. But I will say I usually expect the tempura style from places that are specialized in fried chicken, it's just a better coating that's more pleasing to bite into.

“I ordered the Smokehouse Burger — the serving and taste were good! However, I didn’t enjoy the fries as they were a bit bland and soggy. The server was friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. “Always a nostalgic meal at Chalet Bar-B-Q, a must-visit when we return home for comforting and familiar Montreal food, along with smoked meat and bagels, of course! The decor is dated but that is what makes it so charming. Chicken is always perfectly cooked – they are the only ones in Montreal still allowed to use charcoal, and their's is red cherrywood. It complete elevates the chicken. French fries are plentiful and perfect, especially with their nonstop supply of sauce. I want to also mention Tina, our server, who is joy personified and the most attentive waitperson imaginable. She took the best possible care of us and we left with full bellies and smiles on our faces.“

“The moment I walked in the store the atmosphere was peacefull, very clean and there was music.
The service was very good, the staff were extremely friendly and understanding. The service was fast.
For the food, it was extremely tasty and good. The combination of rice with shrimp and potatoes were a good combo. Also and other detail is that the food is halal so anybody is free to come here and eat.

“It's our 1st time here, we came to celebrate our 36yr wedding anniversary, we definitely came to the right place. The mixed seafood platter was to die for! It was so fresh and flavourful we were amazed how well the seabass, octopus, giant shrimp and cod were cooked to perfection and served with a smile to make sure we had properly transferred the food from plater to dish. We highly recommend Petros, we were super impressed with the quality, quantity and great service. Our go to place to dine.“

“Montrealers typically say: Go to Toronto for good Chinese food. I generally agree except for Dak Hing. Everything is authentic, delicious, and even better than the best that I've had across the GTA. It's obvious everything is thoughtfully and craftfully made when they source their meat from local farms. We have never been disappointed here. Their 芋頭糕 (taro cake) for the Lunar New Year is THE best. (We order in advance - they are so popular!) We enjoy their 粽 (zongzi) during the Dragonboat festival too. Dak Hing keeps me connected to my roots and I appreciate their hard work so much.“
