“A week after coming to Montreal, I wanted to eat Korean chicken, so I came here because I saw good reviews about Dawa Chicken when searching for chicken restaurants in Montreal.
The food was more delicious than expected, and most of all, the owner was very kind and provided great service ^^
It was delicious, on par with the delicious chicken I had in Korea.
Kids also enjoy seasoned chicken and soy sauce chicken.“

“I think I have a new favourite restaurant. This place was so good. Service was quick, the person who took our order was so nice, the food came super fast, and it all tasted super fresh and delicious. I also really appreciate that they leave a whole jug of water on the table for you.
Their prices might be unbeatable for Korean food in Montreal, especially considering the large portion sizes. We didn’t expect to get banchan included with the meal at these prices but we were pleasantly surprised. The soju (flavoured soju too!) is also cheaper than other places I’ve seen, keep in mind though that you can’t get it to go.
We kept our orders pretty basic due to not having the biggest appetites at the time, but all of what we got was delicious. I’m especially looking forward to coming here in the winter for some of their soups.
The tonkatsu was crispy and juicy, the rice was perfect, and all the sauces were great. I appreciate that it wasn’t super heavy on the sauce (there are two layers of pork in the photo, so it’s an appropriate amount of sauce).
The jjajangmyeon was “very delicious, the noodles were so good” according to my partner. He thought the sauce was a thinner than what would be expected for this dish but that’s more a comment, not a complaint by any means.
Overall I highly recommend this place.

“This is one of the best Korean restaurants I have tried in Montreal. The flavors are delicious. The staff is friendly. I had the tofu jiggae. It was full of flavor and just the right amount of spicy. It was my first time there. But I will definitely go back as I want to try other menu items.“

“My husband and I went to eat at K-Bros and absolutely loved the food. We want to go back and try other menu items. We had boneless and bone-in sweet and spicy chicken, Bibimbap, and the rice cakes. All was delicious and the staff was great!“

“We loved our experience! Such a cute neighborhood spot. The bibimbaps were so delicious, with fresh, quality ingredients! We had the tofu and beef ones. The miso soup was also very good - comes with the bibimbap (a very nice inclusion). Nice music and relaxing environment. The gentleman was very kind, his food and service were excellent. I left because it reminded me of Korean food. The pork was definitely localized, so it wasn't spicy at all. It was actually good because there were a lot of vegetables and they were fresh.“

“On adorait le resto à la table. on a donc essayé la livraison aujourd'hui. Les plats sont arrivés froids, pas tièdes ...froids ! J'avais ecrit un commentaire de mettre un plat non épicé, ça n'a pas été fait. et aucun appel pour dire par exemple qu'il n'avait pas un substitution... Très déçue !“

“The pancake is delicious, but the special spicy chicken is too salty for us, though the portion size is generous. The cabbage in the cold noodles tastes bitter. Additionally, there is basically no service. We asked for more water several times, but it never came, so we ended up leaving and buying water elsewhere.“

“This is the restaurant in Canada that tastes the most similar to the food I’ve had in Korea! The sweet and sour pork is perfectly crispy and delicious, freshly fried to perfection. The jjambbong (spicy seafood noodle soup) has an incredibly flavorful broth, and the jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles) stays true to the basics—everything is on point.
The prices are also reasonable, especially by Canadian standards.“

“Very good and filling food, especially for the price. Most items on the menu are on the bigger end of portions, so they're easy to share and eat together. Atmosphere is convenient, nothing too extravagant but good enough! Staff is nice but can be a bit socially awkward at times... still a great experience, highly recommend!“

“Love this place! I’m a regular and Jaeran is so so sweet. Really fun mix of cuisines, with traditional western breakfast food, Korean classics, and also empanadas! Great coffee, with free refills on drip coffee. The food is great but a bit on the pricier end. In any case, it’s a great atmosphere with great service and great coffee!“

“Amazing service and amazing food! Comes with so many sides and most are unlimited and in decent portions. They give you a good amount of kimchi as well as 5 other complimentary side dishes. Loved the place it was a low key and subtle barbecue place where you can enjoy a good meal with your family and friends. The staff is always friendly the meat was fresh and they were delicious. I would highly recommend visiting just come early to avoid crowds as it get really busy afterwards, but over all a great experience!“

“The staff was really great and very helpful with our kids. The food was amazing, definitely worth a visit and is a hidden gem in this neighbourhood. We were glad to have found this spot, thanks to another review, rather than ending up at some other chain restaurant.
