10 Best Pizza Restaurants in Dorval

“The Mexican poutine was shockingly, crazy good! No, really! It was good! I’m from Texas, so Mexican food is a staple for me, and I spend enough time in Eastern Canada to have an appreciation for what poutine ought to be. I have to admit that I was very suspicious when I saw Mexican poutine on the menu of a pizza place in the airport in Montreal - it had a lot of reasons not to be good. My number one rule is “don’t eat Mexican food north of Dallas or East of the Mississippi River because it won’t be good” and that rule has held really well for over 30 years. Second, it’s Mexican food in a pizza place. Third, it’s in an airport - airport food is always mediocre at best. Fourth, it’s in Montreal, a place which prides itself on being French. Honestly, I tried it because I wanted to see just how bad it was going to be. I was totally shocked! It was delicious! I wanted more! The chorizo was spot on! The mushrooms - ehh, not sure those needed to be there. If you like Mexican food - try it! You won’t be sorry.
As for the atmosphere - it’s an airport, the restaurant is limited in what they’re working with. The staff was friendly & helpful.
I usually fly through Toronto but next time I find myself in YUL, I know where I’m eating.

“so my order, was sent to the wrong pizza place yet even so, they waited after closing, in the full moon under the torret of rain outside with my order. Despite me not being able to arrive and collect from this man, who ever he man be, he waited with patience and grace, until I discovered the mishap,and informed them, where they then understood and wished me well. Amazing customer service, truely above and beyond.“

“Aman is the best worker and kindest person ever!
Aman, the manager of the Dorval location, is an amazing person. My teenage son was stranded in an airport hotel in Montreal overnight after missing a connecting flight coming from Europe to the U.S., and he had put his wallet in his checked bag (which went on without him), so he had no credit card, no ATM card, no Canadian currency, and hadn't eaten all day. His flight from Montreal to the U.S. was 30 minutes late, but apparently the U.S. security closed down and he was literally dropped at the hotel by the airline and told to come back the next day. We tried to order him food, but the Dominos App and web site wouldn't let us pay with a US credit card zip code on a Canadian order, and the store policy was that you couldn't pay with a credit card over the phone. Aman was incredibly patient and spent a ton of time trying to talk us through making the app and/or web site work, and then when it was clear it wouldn't, he paid out of his own pocket for our son to have a pizza which was literally the first food he had had in 20 hours of travelling. His kindness was such an amazing act of generosity and I can't commend him enough.“
