WORLD’S BEST FRIES! I ordered a margarita and the pirate burger, which comes with fries and coleslaw. The food was good but the fries! They are the best fries I’ve had in a very long time. I’m at a loss to describe how truly good they were. They should’ve sent a poet! Will be back.
Premium location for a restaurant/pub, we walked along the Ottawa river to this place, their terrace was the best! Very large, covered and overlooking the Ottawa river. The pirate theme décor was so unique and entertaining. Service was fast. Drinks and food were delicious. Definitely going back.
It was our first time at Le Pirate and overall, the food was good but some plates were a bit pricey for the quantity. The pasta with shrimp, lobster and chorizo was great but would had prefer an alfredo sauce as the taste of the tomato sauce was taking over all other ingredient. The steak and frite was good but the size of the steak a bit underwhelming. The melting Brie cheese was just awesome. The terrace was filled and we were not able to get a seat outdoor, so I suggest making...
