Nice staff and food at the location on Tashereau in the south shore. We had the Pear salad and chicken plus Baton Rouge burger. Very good burger. We were the last to arrive and the manager had the cook make our meal for us even though kitchen was closing still. Waiter was also very professional and accommodating and gave us birthday cake.
I have been going to this location for years.
It seems to be going down Hill gradually

Bâton Rouge Grillhouse & Bar offers a mixed dining experience. The service is generally described as good and fast. The atmosphere and temperature were good and very clean. The food quality and portion sizes can be inconsistent. While the meal for a group of 12 was correct, the bib was ordinary, and the vegetables were cold. The crème brulée was barely filled with cream, and the portions were disappointing. The chimichurri steak came with an unexpected surcharge, and the overall pricing was considered expensive, especially for a single diner. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but accessibility for wheelchair users is limited. Customers enjoyed the Crab Cakes, Chicken Burger with Fries, giant pretzel, and the burger and chicken club sandwich. The flank steak was good but the shrimp were hard.
