“Meetings this week in Lake Placid but a free day, so quick trip for a poutine lunch. The Canadian border officer could not recommond any place better and the reviews here were encouraging, so I drove on and ordered poutine. Good choice and big smile.

Cash only, but US dollars accepted 1:1 for Candian with change in Canadian—all as clearly described by the pleasnt staff. I was happy to support in this minor way better US-Canadian relations.

“Workers are very attentive to their customers, my elderly father used to go in every day and order the same sub. Now he cannot go in anymore and they automatically know everything that he takes on his sub and what he takes with it. Very caring personal people, that asked how you were feeling or how your family is feeling and very kind.“

They are generous with their portions and the prices are unbeatable! Special thanks to Vincent and his mom for the warm welcome. Definitely going back soon and trying the hamburger steak , with a side of coleslaw and fries for only 11.99$ how can you say no to that 😊“
