“Always a nostalgic meal at Chalet Bar-B-Q, a must-visit when we return home for comforting and familiar Montreal food, along with smoked meat and bagels, of course! The decor is dated but that is what makes it so charming. Chicken is always perfectly cooked – they are the only ones in Montreal still allowed to use charcoal, and their's is red cherrywood. It complete elevates the chicken. French fries are plentiful and perfect, especially with their nonstop supply of sauce. I want to also mention Tina, our server, who is joy personified and the most attentive waitperson imaginable. She took the best possible care of us and we left with full bellies and smiles on our faces.“

As someone who cooks all the time, I'm extremely critical about food quality and taste. That's why I was genuinely surprised and impressed with Poulet Rouge on my first visit!
We ordered the chicken bowl with salad and quinoa, the chicken bowl with brown rice, and the chicken poutine. Everything exceeded my expectations for a fast food franchise. The chicken was well-seasoned and properly cooked, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the flavors were spot-on. This isn't your typical fast food - the quality really shows.
Beyond the food, the service was great, the restaurant was clean, and there was comfortable seating available. Our order came out quickly without compromising on taste or presentation.
What really seals the deal is the pricing - it's actually affordable, which is rare these days given the current economy. You're getting quality food at a fair price point.
I'm genuinely excited to go back, which says a lot coming from someone who usually prefers home-cooked meals. Poulet Rouge has earned a regular customer. Highly recommend giving them a try!“

“This is our first meal when we first arrived in Montreal at 9 pm. It was raining and this is one of the nearest restaurant near our Airbnb. The grilled chicken on salad was great with many choice of condiment. We ordered two Rouge Bowls and two mini Rouge. There is option of white rice, brown rice or lettuce. It's like Chipotle but grilled chicken.“

“Honestly really love Poulet Rouge, healthiest option for fast food in my opinion, I guess it depends what your topping and portions are but its chicken and rice. Always busy at this location. I'm sure I'm not the only one who shares this opinion. If you haven't tried it, you should!“

“I’m eating Chkn Blvd as I’m typing this. I took the BLVD chicken burger they melt mozzarella and put it in. Bro its so darn good the chicken is thick and the crust is just perfectly crunchy. There’s not a overwhelming amount of breadcrumbs on any of the chicken. Literally perfect amount of breadcrumbs around each piece. I also grabbed 3 Nashville tenders and the guys were really nice, They gave me an extra one. Even the tenders are freaking delicious. I would recommend you get food for takeout. It’s not a place where you want to sit and dine in really. Its a little bit on the pricey side but imo worth it, WAYYYY better than KFC too. Like SOOO much better. Also jts halal. I’m si happy they were open on christmas day lol Thanks guys“

“je suis aller hier à celui de Laval au centripolis. woww quel beau service. j'ai même eu le droit à un repas gratuit en attendant ma commande. le monsieur est venu me voir 3 fois pour me dire dans combien de temps sa allais être prête. bonne musique, le restaurant propre. et les employés étais tout souriant. j'y retournerais sans problème. sa vaut le prix le meilleur poulet qu'on a manger moi et mon amoureux.“

“I can see now why this place is so popular. On my first visit the staff was really nice, showing me the options and asking me if I wanted any of the add ons. You chose how much chicken you want, 3 or 4 slices, and which sauce to use. They have a nice selection, the spicy version which I took was not very spicy, which was what the server had told me. But then you also get two bases (rice, bulgur wheat, quinoa or lettuce) and also you get 6 very fresh topping and a sauce. The food was very good, the chicken tasted great and all the toppings were fresh, even the side of tzatziki was good. Definitely a good choice for some fast food.“

“The food is very good, freshly prepared food, hot and not at all dry.
The service was impeccable, I don't often go to a Benny&Co, so I needed time to look at the menu and the young girl gave me patience and even helped me select my meal. Very well received.
The atmosphere was calm, as I was after rush hour.
The restaurant itself is very clean, there are few restaurants in this city as well presented and visually clean.
I took a meal to bring and had everything I needed to eat and even two jars of sauces!
Parking: Accessible parking, with a rather average number of spaces.“

“Ordered 5 pieces of fried chicken for takeout. I have to admit I'm not a big fan of the thin coating on the chicken, but the meat was tender, juicy, and fresh. Excellent value for the price paid in terms of the size and quantity of the pieces. The employee who took my order was very professional. I recommend this restaurant.“

“I just want to take a minute to thank the staff at the St. Hubert Lasalle location for their exceptional effort in preparing a last-minute order I dropped on them last Friday morning. They were truly under the gun in preparing this large order for me (20 sandwiches) with absolutely no advanced notice whatsoever.
The sandwiches were perfectly prepared, and all those on our team who had them for lunch were really appreciative and super satisfied!

“I went to try the peruvian mostrito, so arroz chaufa with fries and pollo a la brasa, with a salad and a lot of creams as well as the appetizer an aguadito soup and an inca kola, it was a lot of food, good quantity and price for the quality, the soup was very tasty! Good promotion for a family or a group of friends to eat very well. Overall recommended spot for that dish.“
