“I just ate one of the most delicious Shish Tawooq & crispy chicken sandwiches in Montreal, it reminded me of the ones I used to eat in my youngster age in Beirut, Lebanon my home city and country.
The French baguette buns are fresh with a sprinkle of sésame on top, and the chicken pieces are tender juicy, and mayo based sauce is perfectly seasoned (no ketchup and no potatoes inside ofcource).

“While we've been staying in Montreal, we have gotten food from this place several times. First off, this place has a vintage cozy interior with booths that look out onto the busy street. Second, the staff here is friendly, quick, and very organized. Lastly, the food is authentic and well prepared. Our favorite thing here is an all dressed steamy and the classic poutine. “Found this place after moving in the neighborhood and I come here from time to time.Just taking a table next to the window makes me feel on those typical tv shows where you have your local dining with a very friendly environment.It is remarkable how all the staff makes everybody feel welcome as family, some people arriving are acquaintances, some others just usual customers. “This place is far from glamorous or fancy, in fact it looks like a old converted house, but for what it is, it's perfect.

The service was extremely quick, and bilingual, no complaints there.

I got home and absolutely devoured two all dressed hot dogs, and honestly one of the best poutines I've had. This isn't haute-cuisine, but the fries, gravy and curds were perfect; just the right amount of greasy and delicious. A good poutine is almost one solid chunk, and this was right on that line.

Definitely must try if you're in Montreal. All the flavors of Quebec fast food absolutely done right.“

“I don’t go often but there’s something special about the burgers’ flavour that makes me want to eat there whenever I’m in the area. It’s a bit small for the price but the thin bread is a nice concept. Friendly service although I have to advise the manager not to scream at your employees and even less if you have clients around. Overall it’s a good place to have a burger once in a while.“

“This is probably one of my favourite places in Montreal. Best smoked meat, great poutine (do try their italian poutine it’s amazing) and a great place to have a classic good old club sandwich for a ok-by-today’s-standards price. They are also my favourite place to order in Pizza; much better than all the American chains. Also their greek is great! Its a great place to go to if not everyone is feeling like the same thing because they giant menu will have something for everyone. Also a great selection of desserts!

“The food is always good but I don’t understand why when I pay by debit or credit they still round up my bill for taxes. This has happened last two time I have eaten there. Should only round up when paying cash. Check receipts everyone. “This was the very first Lafleur that I ever ate at in early summer of '84, I was living at Allancroft Group Home -- unit Woodside -- and was brought to eat there with a few kids in the unit by a staff member named Tony. We all just had steamies & fries. Heck, it was also the first time I ever had fries that didn't come in a bag made at a factory. “Canada Hotdog blew me away — simple concept, amazing execution. The hotdogs are juicy, the buns are perfectly toasted, and the toppings? Next level.

And their poutines are incredible — crispy fries, rich gravy, and real cheese curds. Honestly, some of the best I’ve had and way cheaper than anywhere else. Total win.
