service A1 , la bouffe est A1, des vrai bonne patate maison 👍
The food was amazing and high quality for fast food, yet it wasn’t expensive. I would recommend the steamy hot dog as well as the fries. The service was top notch and fast.

Patate Rouge is a popular spot known for its mouth-watering offerings that attract visitors from near and far. It is especially famous for their top-notch poutine and delicious club sandwich with gyro chicken. The fries are unbeatable, and the restaurant prides itself on making food right in front of customers, ensuring freshness. The service is friendly, fast, and efficient, with staff remaining calm and smiling despite long lines. The restaurant is very clean, including the working environment and the toilet, which is noteworthy in Montreal. Customers can enjoy tasty sauce and well-cooked fries, and many recommend asking for extra cheese to avoid running out. While the restaurant has reduced portion sizes since mid-2024, the prices have increased, which some find less fair. Despite this, Patate Rouge remains one of the best places for poutine in Montreal, especially in the Ahuntsic district. It is a place that offers good value and quality, making it a memorable address that competes well with major snack chains in the province.
