“One word - wow. I went to this restaurant with my husband and two kids (9 & 4.5). The food was top notch. I had the duck linguini and a lovely drink. The duck was just as I remember eating in Paris France years ago - so tender and seasoned well. The kids and my husband also liked their meal. Service was excellent. Very respectful and attentive. Overall, if I could eat here ever night I would! I might just drive here for Ottawa every March, just for the duck !“

“I was part of a large group visiting. We were greeted with smiles and an interesting glass of wine. Chairs around the firepit, a fiddling group and lovely hors d’ouevres - especially the bacon! The meal was served family style and while not fancy, it was plentiful. The tortiere was fabulous. Entertainment throughout the meal was fun and drew in the crowd. Shopped at the store/info centre after.
It was a great evening and I definitely will come back with family!“

“We celebrated my birthday at Légende and it was everything I hoped for. The ambiance was exactly my style, cozy and unfussy, which made the whole evening feel comfortable and special. We chose the tasting menu with the non‑alcoholic pairing, and every dish was perfect. The quality, the flavors, the creativity and everything was completely and solely delicious. Truly worth it. The staff were attentive, kind, and genuinely welcoming. A special thank you to Justine, who surprised me with a small salty treat they made as a birthday gift. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made the night unforgettable. My husband and I left with full hearts and happy memories. Thank you, Légende, for an exceptional experience.“

“Cher propriétaire, j’ai eu le plaisir de déjeuner à votre restaurant. Je me suis assise au comptoir avec mon conjoint. Laissez-moi vous dire que c’est vivre une expérience! Vous avez un personnel extraordinaire. De la serveuse qui remercie à chaque fois les cuisiniers en mettant une main dans le dos, du cuisinier à la préparation des rôties, du chef au crêpes ou je qualifie le voir faire son Art! Parking: Not a huge number of parking spots; maybe 12. But it appears most customers do takeout, so the turnover is quick.“

“What a cool experience hidden in the center of the parlement building. The dinning room was extremely elegant. The food was delicious and presented perfectly. The cocktails were amazing. The entire staff was very professional and the prices were absolutely reasonable.“
