“We celebrated my birthday at Légende and it was everything I hoped for. The ambiance was exactly my style, cozy and unfussy, which made the whole evening feel comfortable and special. We chose the tasting menu with the non‑alcoholic pairing, and every dish was perfect. The quality, the flavors, the creativity and everything was completely and solely delicious. Truly worth it. The staff were attentive, kind, and genuinely welcoming. A special thank you to Justine, who surprised me with a small salty treat they made as a birthday gift. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made the night unforgettable. My husband and I left with full hearts and happy memories. Thank you, Légende, for an exceptional experience.“

Parking: Not a huge number of parking spots; maybe 12. But it appears most customers do takeout, so the turnover is quick.“

“Very good experience overall, and easily 5 stars once you are actually inside.

The setting is quite unique. The menu puts local Quebec products front and centre, everything we tried was very well prepared, and the value was surprisingly good considering the location and quality.

The only real issue was getting into the restaurant. We had to queue for about 45 minutes to go through the general Parliament security line, which was very slow and fairly clunky. I completely understand that security is necessary in a parliament building, but there is no dedicated line for restaurant guests and the only guidance we received was to arrive 15 minutes early. In our case, that was nowhere near enough.

It is a shame because the restaurant itself deserves full marks. A better arrival process, or at least much clearer instructions when booking, would make a significant difference.“
