“Outstanding …..Craftsmanship at its best. We were blown away by every aspect - great food, ambience and fantastic friendly service. They dealt with my allergy seriously and the food was truly inventive and delicious. The teamwork was brilliant - everyone doing their best to give a great dining experience. “We visited Sept 21, 2025 for dinner. It was absolutely perfect. The location in the old port area was vibrant and beautiful. The service was great and the food was creative and exceeded our already high expectations based on other reviews. I was hesitant to go there because I’m not a big fan of rabbit, their specialty, but I gave it a try. We had the rabbit rillettes appetizer and rabbit pot pie and rabbit poutine for mains. It was all just amazing! The atmosphere on the heated porch was cozy too! La pin Sauté gets my highest recommendation!“

“This restaurant is completely nut free so when we took our 10 month old with a newly diagnosed peanut allergy there, we felt very comfortable feeding him. He got to experience his first restaurant meal!!! Then, when we couldn’t find another safe place to eat, they let us order takeout!! And to top it off, the food was AMAZING!!! “Stopping by the wine and regular bar at the downtown Marriott turned out to be a pleasant find while exploring the area. They boast an impressive and diverse selection of drinks, particularly shining when it comes to their varied wine menu, which offered plenty of interesting pours to explore. While the overall ambiance feels a bit standard and lacks a distinct, cozy character, the drinks certainly make up for it. Adding to the experience was a genuinely kind bartender who made us feel welcome and well-cared for throughout the visit. It is a solid, convenient spot to unwind with a glass of wine if you happen to be passing through downtown.“

“The hostess and server greeted me at the door and allowed me to select any seat I wanted in the outside dining area.

Lunch was absolutely amazing! I enjoyed my cucumber cocktail and lobster and shrimp roll. The roll was perfectly buttery and the lobster and shrimp had the right amount of flavor. I wanted to order the drink and meal to-go so I could enjoy them again later. I swapped out the fries for a garden salad which was extremely fresh. The cherry tomatoes tasted like candy because they were so sweet and fresh. I would give the food, drinks and service a 9/10.“

Staff were very friendly and patient. I was running through city so they double wrapped them so I could put in my satchel to continue my run back to hotel. Definitely a place to go for crepes!“

Cristian was our server and he really went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. He even got the kitchen to customize a dessert for our kid.

The pork rib with maple was the highlight, but we also really really enjoyed the poutine and the French onion soup.
