“I have very few complaints for this restaurant. I go there a few times a year for dinner during the week when I go to the office. The service has always been good. I recommend their veggie burgers even if you're not (I'm not). I haven't tried the vegan ones but the vegetarian ones have been there for a few years.“

“You've got to try the burgers here! Every time we go it's consistently delicious. Staff are forgiving of our poor or non-existant french language skills. Parking lot is busy and the pot holes are insanity bit they are totally worth it for this delicious burger and fries. See you next year when we are in Quebec again!“

“I have been eating at Harveys for over 30 years. Still the best fast food burger. However, you NEVER put the relish in the top bun! Rookie mistake. In 30 years, never seen this before.
You always have to be very specific when saying the topping. Otherwise, still just as good!“

“Did our annual A&W teen burgers for MS. Our family of five ordered 6 them burgers, all slightly different too.

We support this cause every year. We have family members with MS.
It impressive how much $$ A&W donates to this cause.

“For the complainers... Ashton always has good poutine. I love him. It is definitely THE poutine to try for the first time. It is a reference, then you can compare to others. I would like that with the new owners, they would revamp the restaurants which let's say it... are sorely lacking in love now. However, I hope the prices won't increase if they revamp it because it's made it extremely expensive for a poutine.“

“Passing through the city that likes to sleep we had to refuel. It is nostalgia that guided our choices and detours in the twists and turns of Hamel Boulevard.

I must say that I particularly appreciate the original decor of this Ashton branch, at a time when everything seems to be sliding into a bottomless crevice, this sigh from the past did me the greatest good.

I would also like to say that on this Friday evening the employees were smiling and pleasant. That feels good too.

The fries and poutines are excellent. But like a boy scout who walks of his own accord into the cave of a sleeping bear, it's as if I wanted to punish myself with my choices on the menu. I ordered the winning poutine from I don't know what competition with Chipotle Roast Beef Bacon and it was a grotesque mistake. Don't do that my friend, it's not great. You! Yes you, don't make my mistake. I thus deprived myself of the poetry of simplicity. It's the poutine with sausages you want, it's the one you're going to talk about to your grandchildren while sitting around a burning robot while nibbling insect skewers. "In my time, there were still potatoes and sauce..."

When we were teenagers we also established that roast beef sandwiches were rubbish. Ultimately we weren't punks just angry at the previous generation. It has nothing to do with roast beef sandwiches, my 16-year-old self hadn't yet started to cheat on life. I ordered this, SECOND TAKE! never again

That said, the diners around me were all very satisfied with their burger.

Conclusion, I will definitely come back here, the restaurant is cool, the staff is friendly, the poutine is excellent when you avoid absurd and funky choices.

Parking: It is solid and right next to the restaurant.

Kid-friendliness: Completely kids friendly.“

“A good Ashton, you will obviously find neither the quality nor the atmosphere of a restaurant because it is a fast food restaurant, but the poutine is really good and the service is fast and polite!
I recommend the sausage poutine personally I find it excellent!
The quantity of sauce is excellent, the cheese too and the cooking of the fries is always surprisingly excellent as well.

And like all Ashtons, the prices are really low, perfect for a snack on the way!“

“We recently visited Normandin for the first time, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We had heard good things and wanted to try it out, and it did not disappoint!

We started with a kids’ meal and a cheese pizza. The cheese pizza was absolutely delicious — perfectly baked with just the right amount of flavor that even the adults enjoyed stealing bites. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate brownie, and honestly, it was out of this world. Rich, warm, and decadent — it’s a must-try if you visit!

We also ordered ribs and spaghetti with bolognese. The ribs were tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, while the bolognese was hearty and comforting, just like a homemade classic. Every dish we tried was prepared with care and tasted amazing.

On top of the food, the ambience of the restaurant was welcoming and family-friendly, which made it perfect for us. The service was attentive without being rushed, and we felt very comfortable throughout the meal.

Overall, Normandin made a fantastic impression on us. From the quality of the food to the warm atmosphere, it was an experience worth repeating. If you’re in the area and looking for a great spot to enjoy with family or friends, I highly recommend giving Normandin a visit!“

“This is a popular burger spot in the Quebec City area that we discovered last year. The Ashton burger is delicious for a fast food type of burger; there’s something about the seasoning! I can’t speak to any of the other items on the menu but the locations we have seen always look quite busy so I can imagine that the other options are quite good too. Hopefully one day the chain will make it’s way west towards Montreal and maybe into Ontario but for now, it’s only a Quebec City find!“
