Stopped at Chez Ashton in the food court of Laurier Québec and ordered the classic poutine.
The poutine was good and satisfying. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft inside, the gravy was rich and flavorful, and the cheese curds had the right texture. The portion size was fair and filling, making it a solid choice for a quick meal while shopping.

If you want a good “Poutine”, Ashton makes a really good one!
They have many varieties of “Poutines” on their menu to choose from.
They also have burgers and other items to choose from.
The atmosphere is ordinary as this Ashton is located in the food court of a shopping mall but the eating area is very modern and super clean.
The staff was very nice and polite, the food was prepared perfectly and rapidly. They didn’t give me the stiff eye or a negative look...read full review
