I really love their baby octopus as well. I really recommend going here and trying. a bit of everything. “The owners were friendly and the decor was so cozy, it felt like we were in a K-drama cafe ! We took the sundubue jiggae (tofu stew soup) with the extra seafood and it was sooo flavorful. The menu is short, but the classics are well executed. Will come back !“

“Love the place! The tteokbokki was surprisingly good and the service was impeccable. Dont know about the point of view of ismael but the experience i had for a first time was really great. Would recommand this place to everyone who wants to eat good food.“

“I rarely leave reviews but wow I’m impressed with this place. The service was quick and easy (you get a ping when your order is ready) and the place is small and quaint. But that isn’t what impressed me. It was how perfectly balanced the food is.

Usually when I order a bibimbap, it’s mostly rice with some veggies. I don’t eat a lot of carbs so I usually throw the rest away.

But this place uses just the right amount of rice but loads up on veggies. Kale, carrots, black beans, cucumbers. And my gosh the fried onions! Such a perfect mix. Of course, the pork was perfectly marinaded and tender.

5/5 would come back again and again.“

“What a charming cafe we stumbled upon! The Kpop dance studio where my daughter and her friend go to had a photo shoot at a location we've never been to. I was looking for a place to go have a bite and found Allo Daisy. The girls are really into Korean pop culture so were delighted that Allo Daisy was like right down the street! Gimbap and ramyeon was pretty much all they had in the way of a meal, which was good and nicely presented. We all finished with a Bingsoo for dessert, which made a yummy treat, but will have to come back for croffles in the future. The service was very friendly too.“

the kimbaps are so fresh, you get it and the rice is still a little warm. yummmm! juicy, umami, balanced sweetness, crispy nori.

“Got the seafood pancake and the Cheolpan (beef and rice and soup and side appetizers, really worth the price), and they were so fresh and delicious. The beef was tender and the seafood pancake was crazy good. I mean just LOOK at the picture“

“I stopped by to grab something to go. The waitress was absolutely lovely and welcoming, the food was tasty (I had the bibimbap) but one big issue for me is that the portions are tiny. It seems like I could easily eat 2 meals, and that means I don't feel like I am getting my money's worth.

Dear restaurant owner, please increase your portions, I don't mind paying a bit more, but the current price to food ratio is not great. Just having more rice would be a big improvement.“

“Needed lunch when I arrived and Korean sounded delicious. While I personally prefer dolsot bibimbap this was perfectly delivered. Almost went back for dinner a few nights later. Staff was friendly and menu was bilingual (helpful not having to ask for one in English, if needed).“

I had been here before and was surprised to see that some people have complained about portion sizes before because I knew there was no way we were going to finish everything when the food started arriving. I've had Korean food in quite a few places in Montreal and I could tell that this was like homecooking the moment I started eating my kimchi stew. Absolutely divine. Even my kids liked it. The seafood/kimchi pancake was nice and thick and very flavorful. It's easy to overcook seafood but that wasn't the case here, everything was cooked just right.
The fried chicken was cooked to perfection and the whole chicken was a lot even for 4 of us. I haven't seen portions this big in Montreal restaurants so again, I'm puzzled by some of the previous reviews.
We took some time to talk with the waiter and it's a family-owned restaurant. I guess that's why everything felt so comforting on a foggy, rainy night; the parents were in the back cooking away. I really can't overstate how much we enjoyed this meal. 감사합니다!“

“This restaurant has to be one of my favorite spots in Montreal! I’ve been multiple times already and it has never disappointed me. It was my first time trying Korean food and it made me fell in love with this cuisine. I absolutely love this place and you should absolutely try it. Service is great! And my recommended dishes are the following: Kimchi chigae, beef bone soup, bulgogi jeongol, dakgalbi with pork and their fried chicken!

“My sister and I were looking for a comfort spot that wasn’t too far away from our hotel. We found this cute little Korean spot with authentic dishes.

We ordered the following:
- Octopus Bibimbap
- Beef Bulgolgi Ssam Bap
- Saewoo Tigim
They also gave us these pickled vegetables as our starters.
Everything tasted really delicious! I especially loved the crispy rice at the bottom of the stone bowl (bibimbap). The bulgolgi was really tender. I really liked wrapping it in a lettuce wrap with rice and ssam. They also gave us some kimchi that we also put into the lettuce wraps. The shrimp was lightly battered with panko. The sauce they served with the shrimp is a wasabi-mayonnaise that was tangy.

Everything tasted very authentic. We noticed that the chefs were both Korean. The customer service was good too. Our food didn’t take too long to arrive.

The space is a little smaller - probably seated around 15 people in total, so make sure to do reservations or go earlier when they open so you get a spot. We were seated at the bar side for our meal. Overall a nice cozy Korean spot for dinner. Definitely would recommend!“

“A bit of a disappointing experience.
We ordered truffle fries and boneless honey butter chicken. The fries were not homemade, lukewarm, and tasted nothing like truffle, instead it tasted only pamassan. We told the waiter and they gave us another fries plate, this time pretty hot without truffle flavor but it’s still appreciated. And the honey butter chicken tasted really good with the sauce, just too much crispy with not enough chicken. It’s the second time I visit there, again a bit disappointed. Btw, the dished takes a looooooong time 30 minutes for just fries and 1 hour for the fried chicken and it’s noisy.“
