“I really love Mukja. It's such a cute and simple spot but really hits home with the flavours and meals. I love that you can get Makgeolli here, and their tteokbokki is to die for. I really love their baby octopus as well. I really recommend going here and trying. a bit of everything. The prices are SO affordable compared to most places, and this keeps us coming back even though we live an 1hr away. Keep up the fantastic work!“

“A wonderful second visit to Doshrock! They were super kind, and modified the doshrock (like a bento) to be vegetarian, with tofu, since all the options on the menu are meat based. I was very touched that they were able to do this, and will definitely be back! Highly recommend!“

“The owners were friendly and the decor was so cozy, it felt like we were in a K-drama cafe ! We took the sundubue jiggae (tofu stew soup) with the extra seafood and it was sooo flavorful. The menu is short, but the classics are well executed. Will come back !“

“I rarely leave reviews but wow I’m impressed with this place. The service was quick and easy (you get a ping when your order is ready) and the place is small and quaint. But that isn’t what impressed me. It was how perfectly balanced the food is.
Usually when I order a bibimbap, it’s mostly rice with some veggies. I don’t eat a lot of carbs so I usually throw the rest away.
But this place uses just the right amount of rice but loads up on veggies. Kale, carrots, black beans, cucumbers. And my gosh the fried onions! Such a perfect mix. Of course, the pork was perfectly marinaded and tender.
5/5 would come back again and again.“

“The best Korean dining experience I've had yet! The food was incredible, the place was cute and cozy. They serve tea at need (instead of cold water which will just make you feel full) and everything was fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this place and thank you to our friends that showed us the place!“

“I love this place. I had been here before and was surprised to see that some people have complained about portion sizes before because I knew there was no way we were going to finish everything when the food started arriving. I've had Korean food in quite a few places in Montreal and I could tell that this was like homecooking the moment I started eating my kimchi stew. Absolutely divine. Even my kids liked it. The seafood/kimchi pancake was nice and thick and very flavorful. It's easy to overcook seafood but that wasn't the case here, everything was cooked just right.
The fried chicken was cooked to perfection and the whole chicken was a lot even for 4 of us. I haven't seen portions this big in Montreal restaurants so again, I'm puzzled by some of the previous reviews.
We took some time to talk with the waiter and it's a family-owned restaurant. I guess that's why everything felt so comforting on a foggy, rainy night; the parents were in the back cooking away. I really can't overstate how much we enjoyed this meal. 감사합니다!“

“Honestly one of the best korean restaurants in Montreal, their black bean noodles combos are great value with the tangsooyuk, they also have a wide variety of alchoholic beverages, including chestnut flavored makgeolli. Highly recommend this restaurant“

“On adorait le resto à la table. on a donc essayé la livraison aujourd'hui. Les plats sont arrivés froids, pas tièdes ...froids ! J'avais ecrit un commentaire de mettre un plat non épicé, ça n'a pas été fait. et aucun appel pour dire par exemple qu'il n'avait pas un substitution... Très déçue !“
