“This place is so cozy! The food is fresh and flavorful, and the service was perfect. The server even showed me how to use chopsticks and the proper way to eat everything 🥹. It was my first time trying Korean food, so I can't compare it to others, but it was really good! I had the kimchi, tteokbokki, and vegetarian kimbap—$20 for all that is a great deal! Plus, the service was super fast! Will definitely come back!“

The quality of their food is worth the price.

“If you’re looking for an authentic Korean restaurant in Montreal, this is a great option. It’s located right in Chinatown, so it’s quite easy to find and accessible by metro. The menu is diverse, featuring traditional Korean dishes like bibimbap and tempura. Prices are reasonable, and the owner and staff are very friendly.“

“One of the best korean restaurants in town. Everything tastes perfect and fresh. The best items are probably the beef tartare bibimbap with a good amount of beef and delicious vegetables or the bulgogi on a sizzling pan. The price is a bit more expensive than some other korean places but it’s definitely worth it.
There’s parking outside and you can reserve. Take out is also very convenient.“

Dont mind the big line, you won't wait more than 5 minutes at most. service is incredibly fast, the food is amazing, generous, and cheap.
great afternoon snacks, always a stop when i am in the area. i so wish they had more locations.
the kimbaps are so fresh, you get it and the rice is still a little warm. yummmm! juicy, umami, balanced sweetness, crispy nori.

“The wife and I misread the closing hours and showed up at 9pm on a thursday night. We found out on arrival that the kitchen’s last call would be at 9:15 - not ideal for a BYOB AYCE experience…EXCEPT our server Ricky took the time to explain in detail how the chef could prepare a full course tasting menu and they could extend the kitchen’s closing time by an extra 15min (we pushed it to 25min, but it didn’t seem like too big of a deal). All in all we were very happy that we decided to stay and got to taste basically the whole menu, even if that last-call curated menu is a bit carb heavy. Big thanks to Ricky for his patience and understanding, and of course thank you to the kitchen staff for sticking around a few minutes longer for us!“

“Amateurs de viande et sushi, meilleur match ! Oui les prix sont haut, mais avec la hausse des coûts des aliments cela est normal. Malgré cela, vous ne serez jamais déçu d'y avoir été tellement que c'est frais, bon, délicieux et À VOLONTÉ. Le personnel et le propriétaire sont tellement gentils, souriant, là pour nous vu que certains noms je ne connaissait pas. J'ai adoré mon expérience et quand mon budget me le permet, je vais les encourager. Imaginez-vous depuis la fin de l'année passée, le propriétaire s'est procurer un robot chat qui vient livrer des sushis à votre table, chante Joyeux anniversaire en coréen. Essayer après avoir confirmé votre commande de flatter la tête du chat voir sa réaction 🙃. Tant qu'à être dans les confidences, essayer de compter votre meilleur joke au propriétaire, très ouvert et drôle 😅. Bref, c'est une belle découverte et on passe toujours une belle soirée.“

“My sister and I were looking for a comfort spot that wasn’t too far away from our hotel. We found this cute little Korean spot with authentic dishes.
We ordered the following:
- Octopus Bibimbap
- Beef Bulgolgi Ssam Bap
- Saewoo Tigim
They also gave us these pickled vegetables as our starters.
Everything tasted really delicious! I especially loved the crispy rice at the bottom of the stone bowl (bibimbap). The bulgolgi was really tender. I really liked wrapping it in a lettuce wrap with rice and ssam. They also gave us some kimchi that we also put into the lettuce wraps. The shrimp was lightly battered with panko. The sauce they served with the shrimp is a wasabi-mayonnaise that was tangy.
Everything tasted very authentic. We noticed that the chefs were both Korean. The customer service was good too. Our food didn’t take too long to arrive.
The space is a little smaller - probably seated around 15 people in total, so make sure to do reservations or go earlier when they open so you get a spot. We were seated at the bar side for our meal. Overall a nice cozy Korean spot for dinner. Definitely would recommend!“

“This restaurant has to be one of my favorite spots in Montreal! I’ve been multiple times already and it has never disappointed me. It was my first time trying Korean food and it made me fell in love with this cuisine. I absolutely love this place and you should absolutely try it. Service is great! And my recommended dishes are the following: Kimchi chigae, beef bone soup, bulgogi jeongol, dakgalbi with pork and their fried chicken!

“That was the best udon I’ve had! I really enjoyed the flavor and the pairing with zucchini and mushrooms. We really enjoyed the ramen but the beef bulgogi was pretty mediocre. The service was fast and they let us order even though the restaurant was about to close.“

“Perfect experience. The restaurant is clean, the employees are courteous. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable. The food is excellent. The price pleasantly surprised us, very affordable especially for the quantities offered. Very inclusive with halal and non-halal options. “First time to try here, the boneless chicken was our favourite, my kid loves it!!! And i ordered 2 kinds of skewers for myself (squid and chicken gizzards ) both of them are season well, a little spicy kick, but i like it. The cashier (maybe manager) is nice! “Great Korean restaurant with decent food in general. Favorite dish was fried chicken, Dak Galbi barely had any chicken and was not worth it. Cocktail was just okay, I had the litchi one as the waiter said it’s the most popular one, but barely taste any alcohol. And they overcharged our half chicken as full chicken until we asked.“
