Hidden gem restaurant. Was in Spain a week ago and felt like I was still there. High quality ingredients, great service and cute spot. You must go there if you want good Galician food at a reasonable price!
Food is good, but not nearly good enough for the tiny portions and high prices. Left a pretty expensive meal feeling like “what did I even eat?”. Service was friendly but not pro, the chalkboard menu is a cute concept but tonight it was barely legible, and nothing is described. Finally stay away from the drinks that aren’t wine, ours were very watered/iced down. Overall, a cute spot for a glass and some olives, but not for dinner
Bar Vivar is one of those little gems you almost don’t want to share because you’d like to keep it all to yourself. It’s small, cozy, and full of charm. The chalkboard menu changes often, always fresh, creative, and never boring. Don’t get too attached to any one dish, because it may not be there next time, but that’s part of the magic.
