Walking in felt like I was on a bad trip. It might have been the jockstrap pinned to the wall or maybe because it felt like my great great grandmothers home. I never met her, but I imagine her place was like this. I also doubt her coffee was as good as it was here, though.
Tried them on my trip to Montreal since I saw them on a list of best coffee shops. I had the Pepe Latte, which from what I can tell is intended to be a somewhat peppery, slightly spicy beverage which I found intriguing. I thought the drink was very well made, but I did not get the spiciness I had hoped for. Maybe it was a bit too subtle for me to pick up. Otherwise, great beverage though, would definitely return.
