I am now addicted to the quality of all the breads from this bakery. Impossible to satisfy my taste anywhere else. I have to come back all the time, even if I have to drive to this place without parking....a must
I grew up in the Mile End, this bakery tastes like my childhood. I'm 30 now, and I can't drive through this side of the city without stopping for the 16 grain sourdough. The owner takes his bread seriously, he is so passionate about the quality of the flour and products he makes. Many businesses have come and gone over the years, but Capucine et Tournesol is a mainstay, an institution, and the unsung hero of what was once an affordable neighbourhood favoured by artists...
it's almost impossible to find good bread at reasonable prices, compared to industrials like première moisson.
Yep do recommend 100% bio, non processed whole wheat non whitened and raw.
It's also well priced, not expensive.
