About Braseiro

Braseiro is a cozy restaurant known for its excellent food and friendly service. Tucked away like a well-kept secret, this Portuguese charcoal grill restaurant is a culinary pilgrimage for those craving authenticity. From the moment guests step inside, they are greeted by the scent of smoldering charcoal and marinated meats. The ambiance strikes a balance between rustic and refined, featuring warm wood tones, traditional Azorean tile accents, and an open grill.

Guests can enjoy signature dishes like the prato misto, frango no churrasco, and bacalhau. The frango no churrasco, chicken grilled over open flame, is deeply seasoned and crispy-skinned. The sides, like tender roasted vegetables and perfectly salted potatoes, complement the meals well. Customers often praise the quality of the meats and the amazing house-made piri-piri sauce, which is considered the best they have ever had. For dessert, the pastel de nata arrives warm with a delicate brûlée top, making for a simple yet elegant finale.

Service at Braseiro is good, with helpful and attentive staff who often offer suggestions. Overall, Braseiro provides a warm and welcoming environment, making it a great choice for a casual meal or quick pickup.

Third: I moved to the West-Island where there's basically no great Portuguese chicken in sight (I'm looking at you Tiagos Chicken). Today I finally decided to take the drive east and go back to Braseiro for take-out and it...read full review

I told him we like to try Portuguese restaurants in our travels and I told him the grilled octopus was better than the one I had in Lisbon. Thank you to server’s ( I forgot his name) to his mother who continues to make...read full review
