The lady waiter was very unpleasant. She was very rude when I changed my seat before even ordering to sit by the window even though 80% of the restaurant was empty. She also kept insisting on speaking to me in French when she’s fluent in English even though I had made it clear multiple times that I don’t know French.

I asked for my Rib Steak medium but got it very well done (see picture). It was very chewy and plain. The only good thing was the gravy sauce that came with it and the salad.

This is probably one of my favourite places in Montreal. Best smoked meat, great poutine (do try their italian poutine it’s amazing) and a great place to have a classic good old club sandwich for a ok-by-today’s-standards price. They are also my favourite place to order in Pizza; much better than all the American chains. Also their greek is great! Its a great place to go to if not everyone is feeling like the same thing because they giant menu will have something for everyone. Also a great selection of desserts!

Service is always efficient, polite and the vibe is that of a classic good old dinner.

Excellent smoked meat club sandwich
Comforting atmosphere and above all a smiling, competent waitress who explains the menu perfectly!
I'm flying out tomorrow but from my next visit to Montreal I know where to return.

This restaurant has become a classic when I go to Montreal! Food is good, never had any order errors. Every time I go there, the service is very good. The places are comfortable and welcoming. Very pleasant atmosphere! The perfect place to take the time to eat and chat with friends!

Exquisite smoke meat pizza, divine chicken wings. Royal service. The milk cream isn't crazy in the chocolate mousse cake, but we really enjoyed our experience and we'll come back!

Food is pretty subpar. I don't come here for the food. I come here because it's the only place that's open so late and when I'm in the area with friends and we want to grab food and it's 10:30pm and we're a medium sized group, we end up here. The lady who works there is also great, she holds the fort down and works hard and is always pleasant.

I've ordered a few things from here and I'm always a little disappointed. The fries are good though, it tasted like McDonald's! The hot dog, even though it comes with a Lester paper. I don't think it is. The weiner itself tasted like nothing. I've never had a steamy that was just.. bad and tasteless but here we are. I've ordered a few other things and it's just meh. The poutine was also pretty abysmal. And when I think QC diner, I think good basic standard poutine. Not here. I haven't had their breakfast but that's probably fine and a safe bet because, their potatoes are probably good, eggs is hard to mess up and you have salt and pepper.

I've been to many diners and this is not a place you come for for the food IMO.
