I took my 90 year old dad with a wheelchair for an early dinner, hostess was very accommodating for a window seat so we could put the wheelchair against it. Nobody was in the restaurant maybe two tables and the waitress at first was very rude and said can you move to a different table in the middle of the restaurant and I said absolutely not there’s nobody here and my dad is blind and in a wheelchair. After that, she was very accommodating and very nice and I tipped her well....
For the price you pay for the meal you'd expect much better service. Not that our waitress was slow it just that she had too many tables to take care of
They need to hire more staff. I was disappointed in the overall experience, coming from Texas, I was told it was a finest steakhouse in Old Montreal but I didn't think so.

Been to Montreal twice over my years and have now visited Gibbys twice. Worth the visit, very enjoyable experience. Beautiful building, great history, fantastic service and exceptional steak - my wife and I had a fantastic time, thank you!
