I took takeaway, the value for money is excellent (gyozas and Ramen).
We had a small party with our group. In the end of the party, the server asked us a fixed percentage of tips and handed us a terminal already put the percentage in saying that we must pay that percentage accroding to the restaurant's regulation on tips. This instantly ruined our pleasant experience at the restaurant. Love the atmosphere, great place if you wanna drink and hang out.
KINKA IZAKAYA MONTREAL offers a great atmosphere, especially the outdoor patio. While the food is more fusion than authentic Japanese, some dishes like the 7 samurai are a must-try. Portions are generous, and drinks are tasty. Vegetarian options are limited but possible. Despite downtown parking challenges, it's a top choice for a fun dining experience.
