La Brume Dans Mes Lunettes Reviews
What a AMAZING EXPERIENCE. Thomas and Steven have procured some of the finest things to offer.
We ordered The King Afternoon Tea. Everything offered was completely delicious, and made in house. I have food allergies and they even made a few changes for me. Hibiscus’s based tea from Fortnum and Mason was they perfect compliment to scones, mini quiche, beetroot mimosa egg and other sweet and savory treats. I even iced my tea. Service was beyond GOOD. La Brume Dans Mes Lunettes offers a delightful dining experience with fantastic food and exceptional service. The restaurant creates a cozy and fun atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for relaxation, family gatherings, and socializing. A highlight is the High Tea service, featuring delicious options like "Her Majesty the Queen." Tea time includes a charming surprise of applause when the tray arrives, adding to the unique experience. The quiche, bagels, and scones are praised, while the cucumber sandwich is good, and some found the egg sandwiches too vinegary. The cozy tea shop ambiance is appreciated, and the service includes a little song for those who order the king or queen platter. Reservations are recommended due to the small space.
Customers have noted the fast service for tea, although the food can take a bit longer to arrive. The selection of teas is large, and diners can select two different types with their tea experience. The tower pastries, sandwiches, and scones are all delicious, and the flavors are more French but with a classic British twist. The scones are well-baked, with balanced flavors, and served with delicious jam and cream. The shop is predominantly a coffee shop, and offers afternoon tea as one of its many options, so the service is not exactly like a normal sit-down tea place. Some customers have felt neglected at times, as there were only three staff members taking care of all the orders on a busy day, and many things were self-served, which some diners did not expect.
