Lovely, thoughtful service. Warm baguette with the crispest crust surrounding a cloud-like interior. Light and crispy cod cakes on frisee dressed with mustardy vinaigrette followed by meltingly tender hangar steak and frites with a side of roast cauliflower. To finish, Paris-Brest with hazelnut praline. Perfect!
Haven't been to Pois penche in a little while and went last night. The service was amazing as was the food and ambiance ! I already booked to go back with other friends tomorrow
We were in Montreal to visit McGill for my oldest son and I wanted to take my two teens out for a nice dinner to celebrate the end of summer. Everything was incredible. The service was great and the food was fantastic. I had the mixed green salad and the hanger steak with fries. I don't think I left a bite of anything on my plate! My oldest had the French onion soup and the duck and raved about both. While my youngest was slightly less adventurous in choosing a hamburger...
