“Visiting from NB and our cab driver recommended we try! We ordered the mixed plate with extra hummus, and halloumi plate. Everything was on point. Two of us could not finish the meal and had enough for both to eat for lunch the following day. Staff were friendly, environment was cozy. Highly recommend!“

“The food was great! I enjoyed speaking with Muhammad, hearing his story of his homeland, and his desire to go to culinary school. As a restaurant professional and culinary alchemist (I did not go to culinary school, but I have a B.S. in Chemistry), the food will sell itself, but Muhammad made for a great experience. I will return!!!“

“Al-Amin Restaurant in Montreal is amazing, especially the food. The pizza is delicious, perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and very satisfying. The shawarma is excellent—fresh, juicy, well-seasoned, and made with high-quality ingredients. Everything is beautifully presented, served hot, and clearly prepared with care. You can really taste the quality in every bite. If you’re going for the food alone, Al-Amin definitely delivers and is 100% worth it.“

“The food is so good! You Will get out of there with a full stomach and really affordable for the amount of food in the plate!
The restroom is clean and smells good! The parking space is a bit tight, but if you have trouble getting out the employees will go out of their way to help you get out! Everyone is smiley and the service is awesome, so fast! If you want beef kafta call before so that they can prepare it because it’s fresh out of the bbq and it takes about 25 minutes! They have a lovely terrace where you can eat and big umbrellas to keep you out of the sun but I don’t recommend those on a windy day since they are so big that they get caught in the wind and dangle around. But once again one of the employee noticed it and came to remove them as soon as one almost hit me on the head!
I strongly recommend, it’s actually the best restaurant I’ve been at in RDP!

“We loved the hummus here! We ordered here two nights in a row to enjoy the hummus and other Lebanese dishes. Collectively we enjoyed the hummus, Za'atar bread, tabboulé salad, kibbeh, falafel, chicken tomb pickles wrap, lemon confit chicken, and mouhalabeye pudding.
Everything was yummy and we will likely come back here again next time we are in Montreal.“

The meat has great flavor, the salads are fresh, the portions are very generous. A mixed plate always gives me two meals. The prices are completely reasonable.
I also really like herbal teas. The ginger one wakes you up for the afternoon.
As for the service, it's great! The staff is very friendly and remembers the preferences of their regulars.“

“Great experience all around. Made fresh to order and staff was very nice. This is traditional way to eat Lebanese Tawouk, recommend everyone to try it. We got the original Tawouk, it was pretty good and good portion. Also, in addition to washroom they have a sink in eating area to wash your hands quickly.“

“I just moved to the Halifax region a few months ago and this was the best food I’ve had. We both got the Arabic chicken Shawarma wrap. The man serving is said “this is how we eat it at home” so we had to get that. Woah! So tasty! Lots of garlic sauce and the pickled veggies were so flavourful. The chicken was juicy and spiced so well. All of the salads and food we could see looked fresh and smelled delicious. I can’t wait to come back and try all of the salads! The two men working there were so friendly and so kind. My experience here my day… nay, my year so far! Thank you! So so good!“

“Been here twice now. Both times I was served with a smile and polite staff / owner. The food is delicious. Chicken is not too dry and not too juicy which is what you want in a shish touk. Very flavorful and generous portions. Restaurant is clean but just a tad on the warm side, but is to be expected when their cooking machines are so efficient. I would recommend this place over the other Lebanese food chain in the area. Plus if your car needs a wash there is a car was run by the same people. Plus Plus, if you want a dessert, there is also an ice cream place run by the same people. Clearly a very hard working small business owner / operator. To summarize, 10/10, would recommend.“
