Aesthetically Cool, Culinary Chaos

The vibe? Great. The service? Fine. But the night felt like a symphony of shattered glass. I counted at least five broken glasses during dinner. It got to a point where it was almost part of the atmosphere.

The food was hit or miss. The pasta was cooked well, but the seafood inside it was disappointing. The squid tasted cheap and rubbery, the shrimp was overcooked, and the mussels were so tiny and sad I almost felt bad for them. The octopus, though, was the standout. Perfectly done and the only thing that saved the dish.

The trio tartare was another letdown. The whitefish was solid, but the tuna tasted mushy and clearly had seen better days, probably frozen and defrosted too many times. Now to the salmon. It’s alright. Pretty difficult to mess up a simple standard salmon tartare dish!

Now, to give credit where it’s due: the dollar oysters were a win. Fresh, flavorful, and easily the highlight of the meal.

Overall, Lucille’s is fine if you’re looking for a cool, trendy spot for a date night and aren’t too focused on the food. It’s the kind of place that looks great on Instagram. Just don’t expect a mind-blowing meal.

The food was amazing. Serving on cutting boards was a new experience.
Service was very polite but very slow. The server never checked in about a second drink order. Our initial order we ordered our food with with our drinks as we didn't want to wait another 10 minutes to come for our food order.

Ordered the burrata which was to have a truffle and anchovy sauce. Either it was really tasteless or they forgot to put it on. Oysters were great as well as the octopus. Noisy interior with a concert taking place at the Bell Centre.

The steak was phenomenal! A perfect medium rare and a huge serving of fries. The tartare was also delicious. Great service and quick as well. Did not have to wait long for my food. Definitely a place I highly recommend

Food and service were perfect. Rooms are much louder than necessary. Bull-riding shows on TV. Atmosphere is more of a sports bar than a restaurant, but still OK.

Ok here we go, first impression beautifully decorated and to the Lucille’s standards of wow factor.
Once we got in the two hostess’s greeted us with a friendly smile and brought us to our table.
From there our waiter Thomas took great care of us.
Service was FAST and on point always delivered with a heartfelt smile. The food was cooked to perfection!

All in all 5 star service on Saturday night concert crowd Wow!
Give them my congrats on Professionalism and attention to details from bus boys to floor mangers always walking and keeping an eye on the tables.

Much too loud and tables too close together . Very hard to have a conversation. Volume of music and crowd . We were also told that we could not sit ina quieter corner because it accommodated 3 and we were two but within 5 min they sat a couple at that corner table. Ration of price to quality of food is over-rated. Tuna tartar had been changed and not as good as 6 months ago. Other dish disappointing. Dining experience is not only food but ambiance.

Very convenient for concerts or events at the Bell Centre, right across the street.
