Ordered online and waited at counter. No numbers on the board as per usual. I stand for a good fifteen minutes with everyone actively ignoring me and listening to the incessant beeping of a machine unattended. Finally an order comes up and a lady appears and calls the number. The other customer gets theirs. Then they call out mine and I get my food now cold. I make my way back to my hotel a block away and when I get there the food is in rough shape from sitting so long. But that’s not the worst part. The OJ we ordered is basically water, the apple juice is basically pure syrup. A typical McDonald’s with a manager who is probably hiding in the back or just as slow moving and disinterested in quality service as their staff.

Lots of people at the kiosk so I went to the counter to order, all 6 people waiting at the kiosk finished ordering before I did. They upcharged me on a medium drink that i didnt ask for on a small trio. Best part is they gave me a knife for my poutine. Amazing experience

Staff is nice and service is pretty quick. However the place is very noisy because a lot of kids like to hang out there. Can also get very crowded because it is a very small location. Cool that it is 2 floors, never seen a McD with an elevator.

I don't go to McDonald's often but once in a while I will have their cheeseburger and/or their junior chicken, if it's morning their sausage egg mcmuffin.

I ordered a McVeggie burger here but was shockingly served a chicken patty instead. As a strict vegetarian, I took one bite, immediately realized something was wrong, and later confirmed with the manager it was chicken. After this incident, I felt sick, vomited, and was mentally very disturbed knowing I had unknowingly eaten meat.
This is not just a small mistake — it is a serious breach of trust and food safety. Serving meat when a vegetarian item is specifically ordered can harm people’s health, beliefs, and peace of mind.
Despite this mistake, one team lead was talking rudely and did not try to look into this matter seriously and did not give satisfactory solution to this matter. Dear manager, I would highly suggest to train your staff how to talk to someone and how to serve food to customers.
I will also be filing a complaint with the Office de la protection du consommateur (OPC) so that this matter is properly investigated. I strongly urge McDonald’s to take strict corrective action, retrain staff, and ensure such negligence never happens again.
