“Payment machine has not been updated to new law: still shows after tax tip suggestions (starting at 18%, might I add). Waiter claims they cannot change the system - which is obviously not true since most restaurants now comply with said law. Being gaslight by this waiter tainted the whole experience; unfortunate because the other waiter was lovely and the food was great.“

Shawarma Plus is honestly one of the best spots if you’re looking for variety and quality. Everything on the menu is good — from their classic shawarma to their sandwiches and even the chicken breast over rice.

The flavors are always on point, the meat is well-seasoned and cooked perfectly, and the portions are generous. You can tell the ingredients are fresh, and no matter what you order, it’s consistently delicious.

What I really like is the variety: whether you’re in the mood for a wrap, a sandwich, or a full plate, they do everything well. Definitely a go-to place and highly recommended.“

Stopped in for 2 dozen to bring home, and Sona graciously packaged them up for ideal freezing. She was so sweet, chatting with my dad about life in the old Park Ex neighborhood. Warm, friendly service and excellent foods, what more could you possibly want? Pay them a visit and take a box to go!!“

I spilled it on my favourite corduroy pants and she replaced my drink no questions asked! She even gave me a clean cloth for my wet pants! “Such a pleasant surprise! The unassuming ambience is nothing impressive but the quality and quantity of the food really surpasses expectations. The store is not fancy but clean and well organized.

Gyros are so soft and the pickled peppers are such a nice acidic addition to the dish, but I can’t believe that my favorite is the rice.

Hear me out. I’m Asian, and my grandparents used to grow organic premium rice. I am really picky when it comes to rice. But this rice is rich in flavor and just the right amount of savory. I even skip on rice in restaurants in Korea because I’m that stuck-up about rice! And here, I couldn’t get enough of it!

I am sure everything else is great too, but I’m sticking to the Gyro platter. 100% would visit again.“

The taste was amazing there was the Punjabi girl at e reception at 2 o clock afternoon. He serve us very politely and they way of talking is very professional. If I get a chance will visit soon with friends

“Great experience all around. Made fresh to order and staff was very nice. This is traditional way to eat Lebanese Tawouk, recommend everyone to try it. We got the original Tawouk, it was pretty good and good portion. Also, in addition to washroom they have a sink in eating area to wash your hands quickly.“

“I just moved to the Halifax region a few months ago and this was the best food I’ve had. We both got the Arabic chicken Shawarma wrap. The man serving is said “this is how we eat it at home” so we had to get that. Woah! So tasty! Lots of garlic sauce and the pickled veggies were so flavourful. The chicken was juicy and spiced so well. All of the salads and food we could see looked fresh and smelled delicious. I can’t wait to come back and try all of the salads!
