Mignon Steak Vieux-Montréal

Overall, we had a very pleasant experience at Mignon Steak in Old Montreal. Cocktails were delicious, ambiance felt very cozy, albeit a bit noisy until one group left, and the service was top notch. The food was very good! We shared a scallop crudo, which was perfect as an app. We both got the steak frites signature, because you have to. The fries were addictive and signature steak sauce was so good. I liked my steak but it was cooked medium and I had asked for medium rare. Not a big deal, but it was a bit more cooked than I liked. Again, overall we had a great experience.

Overall it was a nice eventing, they are just not very flexible. I had a reservation for 7 ppl at 7:45. My party grew to 10 and we were told they couldn't accommodate all of us. That was fine. We then asked if the extra 3 could have their own table and again we were told no because the restaurant was full - it was empty at 7:45 when we arrived and still empty at 10 pm when we left. Some how they were able to accommodate other walk ins, just not our extra 3. I was sitting close enough to the door to listen to the waiter ask them if they had a reservation, to which the answer was no, but he was able to accommodate other walk-ins

Food was pretty good. Nice portions. Filet mignon was a bit cold and not the cooking we asked for. The service was terrible, really long and mistakes with our drinks, no water for a while.

Had a lovely dinner in the downstairs dining room! Loved the ambiance, the food was great and we had excellent service! We will definitely be back next time we visit Montreal!

Mathew and all the other staff were very friendly, polite & helpful. the food was great & so was the service. We had are our dinner 3 days in row at Mignon. Loved the ambience too. Our son loved the Mignon Special Beef steak (medium rare).

It was our first night in Montreal and after a long journey Mignon Steak was the perfect tonic. Our server, she was brilliant and seemed to be doing most of the work on the floor. We had steak frites and a nice bottle of red and we shared a crème brûlée, it really hit the spot. A word of caution to any new customers, there are two entrances but one of them has extremely steep steps, which you then have to pull the door open towards you, so be careful.

This is a great spot in the old town The food is really good. Their wine list is also alquite nice. I do recommend their borolo Service was really pleasant

The three times I've been were all for special occasions and Mignon Steak made them even more memorable. The food, the drinks, the service, and the overall atmosphere is just perfect. I recommend the Filet Mignon as a main since not only is the meat cooked wonderfully, but the fries that come with it are perfectly salty and the sauce is delicious. The gentlemen at the bar helped me decide on a cocktail when he conjured up something spectacular. Will come back many more times.

We had a wonderful meal! Loved the service & ambiance & everything was delicious! On our next trip to Montreal we will definitely visit again!

Nous avons eu une belle soirée, la nourriture était bien le service manquait de finesse, l'expérience et le savoir-faire, l'ambiance très bien niveau de sonore bruit assez élevé, mais il faut dire qu'il y avait une table avec une dizaine de personnes à côté ça donnerait une certain ambiance  pour résumer le bémol, c'est le manque d'expérience et le manque de savoir-faire du service, je me retournerai

Très agréable car authentique et recherché. Le personnel fait de son mieux pour servir mais enchaine les faux pas. Les plats sont très délicieux par contre. À ce prix c'est un honneur !

Excellent service by AJ! The space was very Smokey from the kitchen and remained pretty much the entire evening! Please rectify this as unpleasant.

In our last night in old Montreal, we crossed the street from the hotel nelligan to enjoy our last dinner!! We had an excellent server, who assisted in selecting our meals! Food was great, ambiance of the after effects of a 20” snowstorm made our anniversary more magical😎👍 Recommended highly!! Bon Appetite🇨🇦

Un restaurant très chaleureux, des serveurs qui ont du plaisir à travailler, une souper extraordinaire, tout était excellent et l'ambiance, la musique, on ne demandait pas mieux!
