North Star Machines À Piastres is a unique bar with a cozy vibe and an easy going bilingual crowd. The bar has a great beer on tap selection and extensive cocktail menu, with knowledgeable bartenders who create the most amazing cocktails and mixed drinks. The real draw is the wide selection of pinball machines, ranging from vintage to modern eras, including stern pinball machines. The machines are in excellent condition and rotate on a regular basis, with new games every few months. For the best bang for your buck, go during Freeplay events every Sunday and Monday, or join the tournament on the first Wednesday of every month where beginners are welcome. There is also an old school Photo Booth. The owners are friendly and accommodating, creating a welcoming and accepting atmosphere with a close knit community. The bar has a small but good selection of local and import beers, and 25 tokens for $20 or $10 freeplay every Sunday. A fun spot to check out with friends or by yourself to play a few rounds of pinball.
