I went to Odessa for the first time last week. I went with my 2yo and my mother. Honestly, I had the best experience! Not only was the selection of product so vast and fresh, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. One gentleman came up and gave my son a balloon to play with while another gentleman showed me some beautiful fresh Quebec Rainbow Trout that he filleted for me within 10mins. I was beyond impressed and will be buying my fish and seafood from Odessa from now on!
Perfect luxury products; take-out counter deaf and/or rude employees (very deaf if not rude 1/3; 2nd is very very very rude (asked for a fork! The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, they can certainly filet a full fish beyond compare...the fresh stock changes, but I've always gotten sashimi grade salmon without fail. Only request is to find out when I know they have razor clams or barnacles.It's hard to find an adequate fishmonger in Montreal- shocking for us being an island, but Odessa is the only place I trust.
