My partner and I tried this place for the first time yesterday, and what a lovely little gem it turned out to be.
Their hojicha latte was delicious - not too sweet nor too strong. Their tempura shrimp and sweet red bean paste buns were delightful. The bun itself was unlike anything we've had before. It was so buttery it reminded us of a cross between bread and a croissant - phenomenal! The chocolate chip cookies were incredibly rich and moist with a really nice toasted/nutty flavour. The Earl Grey and kumquat cake was incredibly light and fluffly. The cream filling was some of the best I've had. It was very lightly sweetened, which we really liked.
The service was also wonderful. The woman at the cash was very kind. She packed up everything beautifully for us and even included instructions on how to reheat the buns at home.
Prices can seem a little steep, but the quality of the products and service makes it well worth it in my opinion.
We can't wait to go back and try their other flavours of cake! Thank you, Par Amour.

This tucked away cafe is as charming outside as it is inside. Especially the lady working this morning. She was so sweet and kind. The original salt bread is a must and the genmaicha latte. There scones are made with love you can just taste it. They really know what they are doing. I must stop if you come to Montreal.

The salt bread was very disappointing, not buttery at all, coffeee was terrible tooo and also the cakes didn’t look fresh at alll so i didn’t get.

Cakes are good.. not too sweet. Tho the prices went up significantly recently. I really like their shrimp tempura salt bread. I hope the other salt breads will be available to order on UberEats as well 🥺

I ordered the fried chicken and tempura shrimp buns. After my first bite, my eyes widened and my life paused for a moment while I stared at what I was eating. It was absolutely delicious, I couldn't believe it 🤯.
Between the light crisp brioche, the warm rich butter, the fresh crunchy lettuce, the creamy mayo, and the crispy fried chicken/shrimp... the balance was just perfect 🤤
On top of that, the people are kind, smiling, and attentive.
The place is cozy, but small and only seats about 8 people total. I expect that it will become very busy as more people discover how amazing it is.
I would give 6 stars if I could. This is an absolute gem 💎

The space feels warm, elegant, and thoughtfully curated. The pastries are not only beautiful but incredibly refined , delicate textures, balanced sweetness, and high-quality ingredients in every bite. Each dessert feels crafted with precision and passion. My favor is black sesame bun bao. Yum yum…They deliver both taste and presentation at a high level. A charming spot that’s absolutely worth visiting, and revisiting.

The desserts are amazing, and the coffee is just superb. It's a really nice spot, although it is a bit small. The person working there is really patient and super friendly. I'd definitely go back!
