PIGEON CAFÉ Reviews
My wife and friends visited on a Sunday morning.
Limited breakfast menu
Terrible presentation, even a piece of fruit on each plate would improve eye appeal.
Tasteless mounds of cubed potatoes
Blah bacon
Toasted croissants?? Awful
Bagel and lox ..served on tough untoasted bagel.
Pancakes two large ones with nothing else on the plate.
Best part of the meal was the coffee and decor.
Very disappointed.
It was good but the wait for the drinks and especially the food is reallyyyy long. Service also seems a bit disorganized but they are friendly!
Atmosphere is beautiful, staff is friendly but… super disorganized. I ordered hot chocolates and cappuccinos to go but it took 30 minutes to make. Our drinks weren’t hot, not even warm… I also ordered the chicken schnitzel sandwich with waffle fries that came out in no time but I still had to wait 30 minutes for my drinks. Pigeon Café is a restaurant known for its nice atmosphere and friendly servers. Many customers have praised the caring staff and the beautiful, clean setting, especially enjoying the outdoor seating. While there have been some complaints about branch managers being unapproachable and unaccommodating, one customer highlighted the lovely manager who went above and beyond to make guests feel welcomed.
Some diners have had issues, such as one person who struggled to book a birthday party and another who found the food and coffee to be average. Specific dishes like the chicken schnitzel sandwich have received positive feedback, with one customer calling it amazing. However, there were concerns about the quality of items like pancakes and Shakshuka, which were noted as not up to the usual standard. Additionally, another customer pointed out that their partner was served a hard-cooked poached egg, and the service was unwilling to replace it due to a new cooking technique.
The service has been noted as inconsistent, with some guests experiencing longer waits even after being seated. However, many have praised specific servers, like Juan Camilo, for being friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall brunch experience. Despite some challenges, Pigeon Café has potential and is seen as a go-to place for fresh meals, with hopes for improvements in manager approachability and food quality.
