I had a lovely solo dinner at Limbo. The staff were fantastic from start to finish, taking the time to patiently walk me through the menu and share thoughtful recommendations.
The pork with raw shrimp was easily the star dish, beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The other two plates I tried were pleasant enough, though they didn't quite leave the same impression.

I feel Limbo has one of the best price point for value tasting menus in the fine dining scene in Montreal. Everything including the desserts were delicious. Cozy atmosphere with slightly geeky decor and great food, they make it too easy for you to want to return!
Limbo is iconic in the Montreal food scene. The cocktails are inventive, the plates are just as creative, and the service is warm and welcoming. The whole experience comes together seamlessly. Top notch from start to finish.

The tasting menu provides a great balance of meals, with standout dishes like panisse a la provencale, radiocchio de parcelles, and truite de Montebelo. The food is generally amazing, especially the fish plates including lobster, though some dishes can be uneven. The staff is helpful and friendly, making it a great spot for a date or friends night out. Overall, a memorable dining experience worth returning to.
