The food here was tasty but not amazing. I came for the Peanut Butter Sauce Dumplings, a local specialty. They have a different name on the menu (Hunan Dumplings I think) but the server will know what to order if you don't. They were great! The dumplings were your typical dumpling but the sauce was so good I wanted to lick the plate. We visited Papillon Bleu recently and once again were impressed by how good the food is and how welcoming and friendly the service is. It was a Saturday late afternoon to celebrate a birthday and we were six adults. We ordered quite a few different dishes including soups and appetizers. Everything without exception was delicious. Finally, excellent Chinese take-out in the port area! I've been looking for something above average in the area and found it with Papillon Blue. Note this place is a few blocks from China Town so I have my pick of dozens of places. This is my new go-to. I followed the waiters advise and ordered Shrimp Fried Noodles and Sizzling Beef in Hot Sauce. Both dishes were excellent, big juicy shrimp and tender beef. Thanks to the fellow Yelpers for pointing this place out!
