What comes to mind when you hear the word Stark? High born ladies of the Northern Lands, or maybe the half-mad inventor whose life force is a glowing orb embedded in his chest? For me stark evokes a lack of external stimuli, which in some cases can leave one as cold as a copper kettle left outside during a blizzard. I like this Second Cup location, the staff is always friendly, and it has a nice atmosphere. Great place to work. The only downside is their pastries / muffins etc. are ALWAYS stale. Each time I think it'll be different, it's not. Just good for coffee and tea.

Recently cleaned up the place and, with covid, no longer have a ton of older men chain smoking and holding up absolutely all the space. It's nicer. Hours are often wrong tho and there isn't a whole lot of selection when it comes to pastries
