This review is based on Thursday afternoon of Grand Prix weekend. Got seated on upper balcony right away. It was packed. Drank only beer. Never eat here because there's better places to eat in Montreal. Great overlook of Crescent St activities. Been here at night in the distant past with no problems but the weekend is way more crowded now.
Great vibe out on the deck. Enjoying beers over Crescent Ave and the F1 buzz. Very nice staff. Place needs a serious tech update though. Honestly we would have dropped 3 times the cash here if we could just scan a QR code on the table, order and pay our bill on the phone. The waitress is running off her feet trying to take orders, giving patrons their bills and passing the machine around. Needless to say we were challenged trying to order drinks and didn’t bother with the food...
First terrace, first spritz in Montreal… and suddenly I understand why winter felt so personal.
