“J'ai dégusté le poké Classique avec du faux-mon et c'était un vrai délice ! La portion était généreuse, parfaitement satisfaisante. Le service était à la fois rapide et amical. Une nouvelle trouvaille dans le quartier. Les prix sont très raisonnables.“

“I got my order delivered and the food was excellent! I ordered a butter chicken and a paneer makhani with their naan breads, everything was to die for. Just spicy enough, full of flavor and light. I also had chicken wings, I think they were a little undercooked because the meat did not come off the bone easily but in terms of flavor, nothing to say. Plus a nice little note on my bag, what to do for my evening. I recommend you again for sure!!“

“Value for money I think it's pretty good price $11 for a small dish of griot, the only 2 things that bother me are the following as in ALL West Indian restaurants sometimes there are too many pieces of fat instead of pieces of griot. The 2nd thing that bothers me with marabou is that there is no macaroni salad only lettuce salad without vinaigrette overall I would give a rating of 3.8-4 depending on the pieces of griot ?“

Le Nomade, prêt-à-manger Takeout • $$
306 Rue Fleury O, Montréal

“Loving to eat well but having little time to cook, I usually buy ready-to-eat meals. For a few years I always went to the same caterer, but in the last few months I found the quality had gone down. So I decided to try another place. I came across Le Nomade and WOW! it was quite a discovery! Their meals are literally tasty. I will definitely be going back there!

Vegetarian options: Several balanced meal options are offered“

Tempura Shrimp

“I have to say, I was hesitant when I went to order and realized the poke bowls were pre-made. What a surprise! I was super impressed with my bowl! It was fresh tasting, it had great flavour and a mix of textures. The lovely man behind the counter even gave me some spicy mayo on the side to kick it up a notch. Let me tell you, I never thought I would be giving a to-go sushi place 5 stars.“

Bento Sushi Sushi Bar • $$
42 Pl. du Commerce, Montréal

“Small and Understated, but so large on flavour. The vegetable samoosas made with banana instead of potato, won’t raise your glucose reading too quickly. From a purist and ardent samoosa fan, they were fantastic. We tried the sashimi and Tom Yum soup both were delicious. For mains, the Singapore fried rice deserved applause and the Thai Green Chicken Curry with Jasmin rice was fresh and flavourful. The service is friendly and attentive, our house lemonade was filled when needed. In a sentence, ‘exceeding all expectations’ in every way. In a word, Perto Bento, your food is ‘delicious’!“
