I also love their menu because it’s carefully curated, offering authentic Spanish dishes with the best version of each item they serve. Visited on a Saturday night in September with three fabulous friends, and wow—what a night! From the moment we walked in, we were treated like royalty. The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, offering fantastic menu suggestions and even surprising us with shots to kick off the evening—such a fun touch!

The atmosphere was lively and intimate, perfect for a girls night out. And the food? Absolutely divine. The calamari was next level—bursting with flavor. We also had the beef tataki, which was melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

Taza Flores nails the balance between cozy charm and vibrant energy. If you’re looking for a place in Montreal that delivers great food, amazing hospitality, and unforgettable vibes, this is it.

“I stop it's been a very long time since I've been to his places. Since I pass quite often in front of this place, I note that inside is very pretty, always quiet and very peaceful, I have never seen police cars either people in drink who are unpleasant, during the summer they have a small original terrace outside which I find very nice, pleasant and very good. But I would never say no that I wouldn't take a pitcher reasonably and peacefully someday. When I pass I often hear very beautiful music.“

“Je me réveille et je pense encore à mon souper d’hier soir. Je n’ai qu’une envie c’est de retourner pour tout goûter. Ce restaurant est l’un de mes meilleurs restos à vie. Nous étions 7 et tous avons été ravis de nos assiettes. Belles, bonnes, bonnes portions, c’était une explosion de bonheur en bouche. “The Club was bright , colorful , and vibrant. Rachel was our server at the bar and made tasty cocktails. The smokey margarita was especially good. The dancer performed a wonderful routine both times with a nice choreography . The food was surprisingly all very good. I wasn't expecting that. The only part that was disappointing was the very grumpy and rude coatcheck attendant. She seemed upset at us when we arrived and I assumed it was because we didn't speak French. Therefore, I tipped her $20 early on to win her over but that didn't work as we were leaving in good spirits and she once again seemed incredibly rude. Overall, it was an amazing experience and we recommend it highly.“

“I went to this place once and the beef and chicken were a bit dry. Came back yesterday and ordered a doner bowl - let me tell you, this was the best doner meat I've had in a long time. “ThAnd snow my kind of Japanese restaurant- no sushi at n the menu! Sure they have sashimi, and nothing against sushi per se - when it’s done as a high level food experience (almost never in the west), it’s excellent; usually, it’s fast food.

In this down tempo At Denis eatery their menu has a huge array of fair priced appetizers that are more than filling (and perfect for sharing) as well as ramen and bao and larger plates.

Their sake based cocktails and large selection of sake are impressive. And highly recommended are the grilled oyster mushrooms.

For me, attention to detail is what takes this place to another level - no ice in the water they serve you, the miso soup is dark, food is sometime served on long wooden planks for large groups. Awesome!“

“Our work had a holiday party at Bar Le Bureau, and I couldn't be more impressed! They were so accommodating the entire evening, serving up delicious cocktails and some really cool tapas fare that everyone loved. “Went here last night for drinks and to play pool since it’s near my place. Pleasantly surprised. It’s small, but it’s cute and chill. Bartender and a regular named Jonathon were super nice to us and welcoming.

And everything is actually reasonably priced. Feels like pre-covid. If you wanna drink some cheap beer with your friends and maybe play some pool this is a great local pub. Will be back for sure.“

“I spent three nights in Montreal and ended up at Les Torches three times. That probably says it all. Once for dinner and twice just to come back for drinks and friendly vibe. The first night, the three of us ordered burgers, I had the double cheese smashburger and it was outstanding. Fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly, and packed with flavour. You can tell they care about quality and consistency.
The atmosphere is lively and comfortable without feeling pretentious. It’s the kind of place where you can relax and actually enjoy your meal, whether you’re on your own or with friends. The decor and lighting make it feel modern but still welcoming, and even when the place was full, it never felt chaotic or rushed.
What really stood out was the service. Truly some of the best I’ve experienced in a long time. The staff were friendly, attentive, and accommodating, even during the dinner rush. You can feel that they enjoy what they do, and that energy carries through the whole place.

Les Torches is one of those rare spots that gets everything right: great food, great people, and a great vibe. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Montreal. Highly recommend!“

Furthermore, during the evening, the staff complied with our requests with a smile and always in a very courteous manner. “Lloyd pulls off the great holiday buffets to celebrate Christmas, Easter, and Mother's Day. They may be the last of the fine dining buffets in Canada. Food is always great with wide variety catering to every taste and diet. Kudos for presentation and taste.
During buffets, service is a little slower. I think my server had 45 covers to manage which is huge.
Lloyd is the place to visit for celebrations.
Definitely would have given 5 stars if the Irish Coffee came with cream....pretty sure it melted while I was waiting for it.“
