Experience:My partner had informed me that it was my birthday, to which the receptionist on the phone said that Dessert would be offered and that the Chef would come to greet the table...He had not asked for anything about that. It seems that there are preferences or that Dessert has landed at the next table. It really happened. It's not time the total amount of $500 that the two poor sweets that we had already eaten 5 minutes before paying, which arrived to us just after receiving the bill with two poor candles, all accompanied by a poor card of thanks. I wasn't expecting anything except a gastronomic experience like we had already had elsewhere. The starters and main courses were good but nothing more. The little freshness of our evening was the sommelier.Very disappointing... my partner really wanted a nice moment to please me and not feel like a cash cow.

Impeccable, from A to Z.Especially the service of the bartender who was our server at the bar that evening. The presentation of the wines is simply breathtaking.Thank you for this outstanding experience!

Wowww! Mega Favorite for this fabulous experience as pleasant to watch as it is to savor! And what about the daring duo tasting of Champagne Cristal & DomPerignon 2013?Excellent service from Clara (and the whole team), nice meeting with Normand Laprise (so friendly), friendly atmosphere in short, experience to relive AGAIN & AGAIN!!!!

Excellent welcome, friendly and relaxed, while remaining professional, in the Quebec way. The setting is also pleasant, and the restaurant highlights local products. However, it is regrettable that the menu offers practically nothing vegetarian (no starters, only one main course: gnocchi). This is all the more unfortunate as Quebec is renowned for its excellent products. It is disappointing that in 2024, a restaurant will maintain such a limited menu.Avoid Toqué restaurant if anyone in your group is vegetarian, or if you just want to be flexible. Otherwise it's a good option.I don't like putting bad reviews, but I think it's important to go to this restaurant with full knowledge of the facts.

An experience, a discovery, a page of history. The staff is friendly and FUNNY. One might think that its the type of restaurant where staff is drab. We laugh with the hole team. Thank for a great evening. They were able to accommodate my mother in law, celiac, doesn't eat meat or mussels. She still got the discovery menu with some tweak to fit her needs. Fantastic.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes the entrance is wheelchair accessible

I had an incredible 3-hour experience with their 7-course tasting menu! My favorites were the beef steak, quail, and two desserts. The beef and quail were exceptionally tender, and the accompanying sauces were bursting with flavor. Both dishes had a divine aroma when they arrived. Even though I’m not usually a fan of sweet dishes, I thoroughly enjoyed their desserts. They struck a perfect balance, not overly sweet, and the sorbet with sponge cake combination was delightful. The meal began with a brown butter mousse amuse-bouche, followed by the sea urchin as the first course. While the brown butter mousse was delicious, the sea urchin lacked a bit of its distinctive flavor for my taste. Unfortunately, the complimentary bread was served cold and didn’t make much of an impression compared to the other outstanding dishes. The service was fantastic. They efficiently cleaned our table, and water and wine refills were prompt. However, I found the ambiance to be a bit noisy compared to Europea, where I had dined previously. Overall, it was a memorable night at this restaurant.

7-course tasting menu with prestige wine pairing. $1700 for two total. This was disappointing given the cost. In terms of cuisine there were excellent dishes but others rather ordinary (the sea urchin for example, we only remember the accompaniment). The wine pairing was the best experience of the evening. The sommelier who served us was not even the appointed sommelier at the restaurant and was the most professional waiter. The service in general lacks quality for a so-called gourmet restaurant. We were served like in a good brasserie. Below expectations for a luxury experience. At comparable prices, Europea or Boulud deliver the goods much better. Sorry to be so low in the rating, but the marketing around this restaurant is unfortunately overrated.

I've been to Le Toqué 4 times in about 5 years: it's always the same, impeccable on every level. The welcome, the atmosphere, the service and obviously above all the cuisine, this is an exceptional restaurant which uses local ingredients as much as possible. The desserts are particularly sought after and delicious, it's worth the detour just for that.A restaurant that we can be proud of, the best in Montreal in this style in my opinion.

If you want to admire beautiful plates and taste no flavor, drink champagne in wine glasses and regret the aftertaste, pay an exorbitant price for mediocre food and be harassed at the door for a tip, then you might enjoy #Toqué.As for me, the place left a bitter taste in the mouth. The maître-D who stations himself at the door to shake down the tourist patrons for a tip, is an ill mannered brut who would be better suited as bouncer at a club.As one of the best restaurants in Montreal, the quality is less than distasteful. #mauvaisapétit

Had a wonderful experience with my wife last night. We both ordered the tasting menu and I also added in the regular wine pairing for myself. All of the food was amazing down to the smallest detail. I really appreciated how attentive the staff were to everything and also their detailed explanations of all the wines that I had. By dessert I definitely had a nice buzz going from all the wine and was satisfyingly full. Thank you so much to our waiter and thank you to the awesome barman. You both definitely made our evening one to remember!

We went there for the big Kit!Blind tasting menu accompanied by prestige wines4 guests4 tasting menus, 1 regular wine pairing, 1 prestige at $470 for wine onlyIt’s more of a culinary experience, the dishes were succulent, sophisticated, local cuisine, the service was WOW!!! The waiters and sommeliers form a solid team, having worked in catering myself is a plus, which is really appreciated +++The description of the wines, I loved it!The choices among the greatest, what a privilege to taste these products! The price comes with it for sure, for 4 including one of us who doesn't drink any alcohol...we're talking about a total of $2000 without tips but don't forget, we went "all in"! this restaurant is an institution in Montreal that must be preserved and encouragedThank you very much to the whole team

Oh how the mighty have fallen. I've been several times to toqué, but will not be returning. From the slow and only semi-attentive service to the mediocre food, what was once one of my favorite restaurants is now on my do-not-return list. Very disappointed.
