We were curious to give this spot a try since we walk past it very often, but the experience was underwhelming, to say the least. While presentation of the various flavours looked appealing, the taste was very dull and diluted. Also, the carton cups given were too small for the amount of ice cream we received. Via Vivoli was a totally random find. We love macarons and while you're in Montreal, get some! The cashier helped us out immediately. She was friendly and spoke fluent English. We ordered the 6 pack of macarons and it was packaged up nicely. We didn't get any gelato that was next to the macaron counter but that seemed to be the most popular for customers. We loved the macarons, they were flavored nicely and baked really well.
