“I should have known, that when making a dinner reservation, I was told that I should look at the menu and decide what we would eat before going. What? Because if they get busy, it would take 45 to 60 minutes to get our food.
So I looked over the menu the day before.
Why? There are 4 tables. How busy can it get? It's the take out...2 sushi chefs. It did take 45 minutes. It was ok. We were with friends and time passed quickly.
As for the food...I was impressed with the presentation. Beautiful.
Taste..ok. I liked the fact that the rolls had a minimal amount of rice and they were all a good size.
We ordered a variety of Specialty Maki, see pic.
The rice was light and fluffy. The rolls were solid and didn't fall apart. A definite plus. The ingredients were different than in other sushi restaurants which made nit interesting.
Would I go back? Not sure. Need to try it again.“

“Amazing experience at Aikawa Restaurant, as always. We’ve had Dave as our server many times, and we always request him because his service is consistently excellent. He’s friendly, attentive, professional, and really makes the experience special. The food is always delicious, fresh, and beautifully served. Highly recommend Aikawa — and definitely ask for Dave!“

“Services is great. Very kind and accommodating. Their sushi is fresh and deliciousi. The owner works there and makes the sushi himself with two other employees.
Smaller place so if you want to eat there with a larger party, I highly recommend you reserve in advance.“

“This local gem has officially become our go‑to spot for sushi. The staff is incredibly welcoming, and the menu is both varied and delicious. This time, we tried the tuna pizza, a plate of sashimi we hand‑picked, and two rolls — the Cupidon (fresh and flavorful) and the Oishi (the tempura lobster is a standout). Highly recommend it for a date night or a group dinner so you can sample a variety of dishes.“

“A few of us went Sunday at around 2 pm and had a lunch special! Everything was delicious and finished meal with fried Choco banana! Amazing friendly staff and such a cozy ambiance. Affordable menu and a la carte too! Definitely will go back!“

“Good service, decent atmosphere with a medium sized restaurant. It's not too loud which allows you to talk in a bigger group. It can accommodate different size groups, it just takes a little longer to get your food in larger groups, naturally.
Nice variety of food choices. If you don't eat sushi, there are other options that were tasty. The sushi rolls were fresh and nicely rolled. I personally found that the different rolls tasted very similar which took some points away in my opinion. But overall, it was a nice experience.“

“Huge shoutout to this place. Walked in at 8:55 PM right before their 9:00 PM closing time, and they still happily took my order. The lady was incredibly sweet and accommodating. This is how you run a business, unlike the Sushi Shop on Sources. Highly recommend.“

“I only do take out from this place. Decent sushi quality for the price. The poke bowls are quite tasty and so are some of the specialty items on the menu. The regular sushis are okay, they’re not bad but nothing impressive either.
Some of the staff’s attitude could do with a little improvement. Let’s say they don’t go out of their way to make you feel welcome.“

“Excellent service! The portions are generous and the sushi is big and delicious! The salmon had a nice color and was fresh. There was a little too much sesame on the rice for my taste but nothing to worry about. I definitely plan to go back!“
