“We took our son and wife for their b/days on Sat. Oct 4 2025. No waiting, Place clean, ambience good, waiter great. It was our 1st time and in general the food was very good,(filet mignon, done to taste, Salmon, fries ,which were dry, tasteless and cold. Frozen fries are way tastier at the fast food restaurants; McDonald's, Harveys, A+W. etc. With a restaurant of this calibre we certainly expected fresh fries. It really spoiled our dinner, as we all chose fries with our meals. It's nearly insulting. If you don't have the facilities to offer fresh fries, then just serve baked or mashed. Sorry! it really left us with a bd taste in our mouths. Will we go again??? Not so sure! Sadly! P.S the stars are not right. Overall 4 stars, Food is 4 stars, service is 5 stars and atmosphere is 5 stars”

“Atmosphere is beautiful, staff is friendly but… super disorganized. I ordered hot chocolates and cappuccinos to go but it took 30 minutes to make. Our drinks weren’t hot, not even warm… I also ordered the chicken schnitzel sandwich with waffle fries that came out in no time but I still had to wait 30 minutes for my drinks. So as you would expect my food was cold since it was to go. There is potential here, staff need to synchronize and communicate. Sure I could have gone back in and asked to redo my order but I didn’t feel like waiting another 30 minutes to get the same outcome.”

“I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and service we received owner Mr. Ming personally greets and attends to all customer needs. I can honestly say Sushi Hin is my favorite sushi place in the West Island. I have been there twice and the quality and service is very consistent. On my last visit i was there for lunch in a group of four and we were offered items that are only available for the night service. I thought that was a nice gesture and we really appreciated how far they went to win our loyalty to the restaurant. i highly recommend you give them a try.”

The food is underwhelming and bland however. Underseasoned is an understatement.

We had Dimsum and it was generally ok.
The chicken feet were good.
The dumplings seemed starchy and bland.
The hot and sour soup was neither hot or sour - easily fixed.
Fried stuff was ok.

Overall it is a repeat for us based on the fantastic service.

“Got stuck in this area and had to bring my car to a mechanic beside this restaurant. Was the bright part of my day. Ordered breakfast here and it was amazing. Very fresh ingredients and home made bread. Only two people working and they looked busy but still took the time to warmly serve me. I hope I did not bother them as I think I came past their schedule. Would happily go back here when I am in Pointe Claire. Very good breakfast restaurant and in-house bakery.”

“La Diperie in Pointe-Claire is the favourite ice cream spot for my wife and I. We love the choices of dips and coatings and the ice cream is of an excellent quality. BUT I did not give full stars for service because for some reason the opening hours are often not respected. On multiple occasions when the shop is posted as being open we are majorly disappointed when we arrive and the doors are locked. The latest time was this past Saturday in mid afternoon, probably the last beautiful summery weather day on a weekend for 2024...and it was closed up tight! So we went down the street and made do with another ice cream shop. The word of advice if you don't want to be disappointed is to call ahead, don't believe what you see posted on Google for the 'open' status, it's often not correct.
UPDATE: The response from the La Diperie Team was also disappointing, they completely ignored the complaint about not respecting their opening hours. Am I to presume no effort will be made to correct this pattern?”

Food is offered but never had anything but a sweet treat which you can tell was not made there but ok and high priced. Fundamentally I do the juices.

Service. Generally ok to slow. It depends on the volume of customer they are serving.

Atmosphere. It’s a mall need I say more.

All in all I like to come here for a nice refreshing smoothie. I prefer the simple style as the others with all those additives are supposedly not actually proven to actually add value so I stick with things like strawberry and banana etc. I find the pricing to be very high and not a great value from a portion perspective. I also find that they predominantly use frozen fruits instead of fresh. I would prefer the use of fresh and it would’ve better if it were organic at this price for that matter. But beggars can’t be choosers and this is the only real place to have a beverage of this type in the mall so I just go with it and do enjoy it for that matter.”

“Came here for my lunch break. Ordered the grilled chicken wrap. It was delicious and filling. They have awesome date squares bars that are soft and moist. Their is a nice selection of Panini sandwiches and wraps. Will definitely come back to try their other wraps and sandwiches.
